Great use of wide, lens flare and some nice colouring there

KW v1 and 2 use Koni adjustible inserts and Eibach springs. I had the v2 setup in the old 330i and it was very good. (also eibach sway bars) The PSS9 is a cool system but over priced for what you get in my opinion. Another shock is Öhlins -- pretty much one of the best you can get. There are a few others around .. look out for the cheaper and noname brands. Longevity is an issue usually. PM M3_Power and ask him to take you for a hoon in his CSL with top of the line Koni CS's ... actually dont. It will make you want them and im not sure 10k is a sain suspension budget lol.

Yep, have a look on e46fanatics.com for it. lots of people have done this before. Looks a bit strange because they mount the other one on the same area oppersite looks too far apart compared to m3.

With the symptoms you've discribed you need to replace your oil filled thrust arm bushes (front suspension) Just did mine, feels like a new car and no more shimmy under braking, hard accelration or 80kph wobble. You have the added bonus of chrisp turn in general solid feel to taking corners. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ClRI2NJMFnM

Unless you know the dealer that serviced it I think youll be hard pressed to find out. Easiest way is to check the condition of the oil and the top and bottom. Pull the sump and have a look whats going on with the oil in the pan and will give you a chance to check the bottom end and bores. Also anything strange going on with the timing chain / sproket and reverse thread jesus nut on the sproket. Will only cost you a sump gasket and some time.

Yea figured the info I was given wasn't correct after westy pointed it out so elegantly.

The ACS5 was a pretty rare car .. unfortunately lots of knock off parts where made over the time. Not saying yours is but have a look into serial numbers of the parts and compare them with gen parts on line

Standard M52B25 S50B32 (321bhp Euro motor with ITBs, headers, billet crank, coated light wieght pistons, oil squirter, double VANOS, uprated valve train, iron block and increased compression ratio + a bunch of other stuff) S50B32US where the cover probably came from. This isnt a euro m3 engine. Its out of the US m3 and is just a stroked m50 and missing a lot of the true motorsport parts etc it is 240bhp

Chuck the last 7 digits of the VIN number stamped on the front shock tower in the engine bay into here http://www.realoem.com/bmw/select.do It will tell you exactly what the chassis is from the factory. Rego's are just what people call it when the car is registered to the plates.

Yeah you have till the end of this week.

Ollie will have recieved them and stored them for us to go through. He'll contact you if its selected in a few weeks.

Thats one nice looking e21 you have there. Congrats!

Just tell ya dad that his cars fine out on the drive way ... modern cars have rust protection and great paint. + the look so good when you press the garage door button and it opens to that

No probs. Built a car or two ... This info use to be availble to those in the know or workshop tech but has recently all be put online for the 'older' cars. I used GT1 which came the TIS stuff when building the s50b32 / e30. Enjoy
-
I found the aftermarlet workshop manuals quite incomplete and glossed over many subjects of importance. the only BMW manuals you need are TIS, WDS (ETM for older cars) and the ETK. All availible online. TIS http://tis.spaghetticoder.org/e36/ BMW Torque settings for all BMW bolts/nuts attached bmw_torq.pdf

Dont forget to email them in with the correct size as per the instructions on the front page. Just posting them in this thread doesnt count as entered. Although it is nice to see them up here I think ollie mentioned on the phone a 1 week extention for those planning photo shoots.

The old excuse for there just refill are for people who cant get it right. A lot of people miss the whole 80-100hz range because they haven't sealed the rear speakers properly. This is where the kick of bass comes from. When you try and compensate for this with say bigger speaker such as a sub you get too much boom and it drowns out the rest of the music. With a good set of 6 1/2 with a decent driver and power source and a sealed boot will give you great kick and satisfying bass response without the need to blow your ears off. Also you install the on axis and in phase .... lots of people muck that up and wonder why it sounds all flat and wierd.
