yes to the scan, but pull the cover off in the engine bay that Hides the Ecu, check for moisture around the ECU for corrosion comon issue, we have some in stock call me if you need a better explanation Jon 04 3801089

in regards to E30 the clutch kit from the m20b23 or m20b25 can be interchanged they are both single mass flywheels the b23 is lighter!!!

what oil pressure is it running at? have you checked that? lift the rocker cover and check the cams for wear, could also be a cam bearing?
