Nath.. didnt get that idea from the feature in classic car last month did ya?? was reading last months copy in the staffroom today and saw that either the M3 or the 325i had that mod! brought a battery charger/trickler for the black car so i dont have to jump start it every time i take it round the block. also brought a kill switch for the capacitor and in turn amplifiers so they can be removed from the car when i need to and not blow sh*t up with live wires in the boot.

mint car! the tan leather is sex as hell.

a mate had one of these, he found parts so expencive ended up selling it to the yard. the Audi parts under the hood are worth a few lolz
-
my biggest hassle with that is mounting them. i dont want to drill into my bumpers because obviously they are tech2 ones not just standard E30 bumpers. these are mounting on the thin rail that goes between the bumper and the grill that is part of the valance which, should i need to, can replace for cheap as chips.

have thought of a few different options but i dont want to have to realign them everytime i need to open the bonnet, but it may just have to be that way. ill come up with something ha. wish BMW didnt have reverse opening bonnets! such a PITA

any more? need to find out if an OEM sump gaurd can fit under an M5x conversion :S
-
^ thats the look im going for with them, and exactly why i brought the headlight wipers for the car about 6 months ago off Ian/Hartage and still rocking the roof racks, both of which all the flatcaps/pants-on-the-ground types my flatmates bring home have told me to remove asap lol
-
still buying bits i want rather than the more important bits i need. lol. flaw: bonnet now opens half way. remedy: carry two 13mm spanners to quick release the spots at any time

E34 transmissions with the S/E switches are electrohydraulic and as far as i know not compatable. the regular transmissions are cross compatable, but you obviously use all the E30 linkages/supports etc for it. only plug on your transmission should be the reverse light switch. if there are other wires coming off it you have the wrong transmission. btw this assumes your E30 wasnt fitted with an electrohydraulic transmission from the factory, which was a fitted to some E30s in their final year of production (1991)

Any opinions on which bank to open a new account with?
_ethrty-Andy_ replied to Tristan's topic in Off-Topic
Mom put me with Kiwibank when i was little. i decided to make the switch at 15 because i hated thier lack of service, treating me like the kid i was, and the lack of qualified bank tellers you went through to get your money out (using postshop staff did not appear. Moved to ASB because of better rates and all that, as well as the opposite of Kiwibanks downfalls to me. Love thier online banking, staff a very friendly at the multiple different branches ive been to etc Our flat is with Westpac. Im responsible for it and would have gone with ASB again except they dont have a branch in the suburb i live in. Have found staff to be less than helpfull though and not knowing thier stuff about what they are doing, particularly the more detailed/fine print stuff to do with thier products, but thier online banking is as good as any. Seems like a bit of a theme here huh!? -
Right, most up to date list here. Still no word from those with question marks if they still want in or not, not checking and/or replying to thier PMs... if anyone would like to let these guys know over text or something that would be great. we have hit the magic 15, and so seeing as im not benifiting from this i dont really mind either way. Might pay to check your own order on here is correct. mistakes do happen lol. cheers List: 1/ Tristan - Pair German Plate w/ D, black background, white text - "FMN 675 (with space)" 2/ Tristan - Pair NZ plate w/ black ferns - "BTJ343" + Four mounting frames 3/ Tristan - Pair NZ plate w/ blue ferns - "EHU786"ADDRESS RECIEVED PAID CONFRIMED 4/ Oli - Pair Black background, white letters "ME-109" "ADDRESS RECIEVED PAID CONFRIMED 5/ Dubman - Pair Black background, white text - "DUBMAN" + two frames ADRESS RECIEVED PAID CONFRIMED 6/ B20 - confidential ADRESS RECIEVED PAID CONFRIMED 7/ Gotheschu - Pair NZ plate w/ black ferns - "DZB7" ADRESS RECIEVED PAID CONFRIMED 8/ Nipe - Pair German plate w/ D "MOHCTP" + 4 plate frame "BMW Autohaus München" frame ADRESS RECIEVED PAID CONFRIMED 9/ RAPID0 - Pair Black w/ white writing - "RAPID0" (with a zero not the letter O)ADDRESS RECIEVED PAID CONFRIMED 10/ JFry - German plate w/ D on the left - "DGC202" ADDRESS RECIEVED PAID CONFRIMED 11/ Silver Fox - Pair NZ w/ black ferns - "SIL FOX" + Two mounting frames ADDRESS RECIEVED PAID CONFRIMED 12/ M-Spec - Pair NZ plate w/ black ferns - "FHB681" + Two mounting frames ADDRESS RECIEVED PAID CONFRIMED 13/ willm/// - Pair NZ Plate w/ black ferns - "RC2410" ADDRESS RECIEVED PAID CONFRIMED 14/ MAN HO - black plates with silver lettering - MAN H0 (with a zero not the letter O) ADDRESS RECIEVED PAID 15/ Master Garion - Pair NZ blue "BHN467" + 2 mounting frames ADDRESS RECIEVED PAID CONFRIMED sweet as. let me know which order to tack it onto if/when you know. ill assume you dont want one for now.
