2nd in Class... 17th overall... needed anouther run or two and i think i could have done a fair bit better... the last run was my only clean run... hehe almost put it into a bank on the first corner of the second run... The rollbar has completely transformed the car just need to put in the larger torsion bars now and then work on the other problems... I had MLM as a passenger for the day so it was a great day enjoyed by all... All you BMW fans will be pleased to know i lost to a BMW - Mike Hindmarsh BMW M Coupe 00:58.17 11 Heath Simone Peugeot 205 GTI 00:59.63 17 and we all got SPANKED by Allen Fretwell Subaru Legacy RSRA 00:52.04 (2nd place was 00:55.09)

i think you will find they are targetting all cars... lots of cars getting broken into at the moment... seams like for some reason a lot of people i know are finding money more leaving the door faster then in the last 6 months for some reason and it's not because they are buying new stuff either... Simple things like not leaving things in visable site, etc... I know a few people that leave their glove box open to show there is nothing in it when they leave the car in town or on the road at night...

rollbar = 768% increase in stiffness or there about! ya baby... also found the problem for not getting into 3rd gear... the gear lever bushes that allow the lever to pivot forwards and backwards have worn considerably, and are allowing a lot of lateral play in the gear stick. Currently looking at new bushes that we can make up today in a hope to get that sorted by Sunday. so we can put the car back together tonight/tomorrow...

You might want to see which fits your hands best. I know the nikon bodies are unfortmortable for me to use. The button is in an odd place for my hands.

one comp in the states a guy cable tied his hands to the car so they wouldn't come off... it said something like you couldn't glue or adhear, or tie you self to the car, but he found that he had bound them to it... it was a loophole in the rules... can't remember what happened to it...

See if you can find "Too Fast To Race" and "Still Too Fast To Race" dvd's you will love them! went i was working at Sky City the wrc teams would stay there as it was the base for the nz rally. We got chatting to a few of the guys that serviced for the group b guys and they say the fans use to play a game of seeing if they could touch the car as it went past, needless to say the car did come back with a finger from time to time supposably. Rally Drivers = Best Drivers in the world...

tried that too. They are smooth plastic tubes the cable ties slide off

Yup! Got to love it. It's the same piece i've lost twice now. The rear part is a pain to attach - i've use a washer and bolt on most of the plastic locators to hold it in place but the rear 3 ones did hold.
