Doesn't the antifreeze/water mix depend on the conditions you live in? if your not in freezing conditions you can run a higher % of water to allow better heat transferance from the metal of the engine to the "coolent" of the car?Â

I'd hope that if you where to ever SELL the car you would inform the new owners that you have fooled/by-passed the airbag sensors in the car... If not and i bought the car and had an accident and my gf was injuried or killed due to airbag failure and it was proven that the injury or death was caused by this stupid device, i would either hunt you down and castrate you before killing you or take you to court for intentianaly mis-leading as to the safety of the car and hope the police would charge you with mansluaghter...Â

I need to get the anti-roll bar from the 306 cut down by 80mm and then resplined to fit the 205. Does anyone know where i can get this done? And how much i would roughly be looking at?

The bonnet has some minor dents at the front but nothing too major... Ya i'm hoping that finally after all of this, i'll be able to do an event in the car after owning it for now 8 months!

Car is currently with greg getting the following work done: - 306 BE3 gearbox fitted - the be1 box had a kevlar clutch in it with vertiually no wear so we will re-use that. - 23.8mm Brake Master Cylinder fitted - Wilwood brake bias valve fitted in car - new hardlines will be made for this and run to the hydrolic handbrake. - ditching the 1.6 hubs, control arms, and driveshafts. Will look at using the 306 hubs, and what we can from the 306 driveshafts before getting new 1.9 gti or 309 gti stuff... - locate and fix a couple oil leaks - look at reusing the studs from the 1.6 hubs or get new studs for the hubs - check condition of seals while the gearbox is out.

Mine are also inside the car... Do you have a set of alloy spanners? I wouldn't mind throwing a spanner over mine to make sure they are tight... I know speedshop has them but they are a cost i can't afford right now... Oh will be working on the 205 tomorrow morning if you want to have a lookie...Â

If i remember correctly it was only for the carbie'd auto's where the carbie wouldn't clear the standard bonnet so they made a buldged one to accomidate the extra height... not 100% sure, but auto bonnet is what everyone knows them as... p.s. i love the color...Â
