hmmm ... it's a pretty dumb argument. Unless a log bog, roll cage and 6 point harnesses make a car instantly faster than one without these things then yeah ....

I'd go the home pc based media centre. with large capacity NAS on the wired network somewhere. The Apple Media Centre is nice to use and you only need the little white apple remote. Only downside is the need to encode the movies to run in itunes. We used a little mac mini under the TV, was brilliant. Re. the ipod dock thing, don't let the ipod dock choose the stereo, because you can always just get and ipod universal dock, complete with little white remote again. Very versatile and your ipod will charge whilst playing music. - http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB125. although if you go down the media ecntre route you won't need to dock your iphone to play music as it will all be on your server / hard drive right. If you have an ipod touch or iphone you can use it as a remote to control your media centre over wireless, there are heaps of apps to support this. When we had the mac mini setup i used it all the time, very responsive and easy to use. another bonus is because of the iphones screen you aren't limited to volume up, down, tracvk fwd, back and play pause - you can actually search albums, movies etc ... from anywhere in the house .... I could go on for ages I Personally would 1. choose a nice TV 2. choose a nice stereo amplifier and speaker set up 3. build or buy a suitable computer (small form factor, low power consumption, quiet and cool, good video and sound cards, other specs to suit) 3. Install Media Centre Software of choice on the PC and a remote app on iphone 4. Plug in some Network Attached storage or install a media server (as an alternative to putting harddrive/s under your TV)

I'm not a huge fan of eyelids, i'd rather spend the money on petrol or something

I don't really like them when the car is stationary. What do they look like when doing a burnout?

take away the give way sign. and remove the rad and silver cars blue car has to give way to green car, green car pulls out and is hit by a car coming past the left of the blue car. blue car should have checked his mirror, seen the other car and turned right. However the green car should have looked harder and seen the car coming. Common situation at entrances to supermarkets or roads with no give way sign.

This has most definitely changed, sigh.Prodrive was a good hands on driving course teaching drivers to brake properly and control a car in an emergency situation. But funding was cut by the road safety trust. Their policy is now ... and I quote "off the road behind the wheel driver training is not effective" what the f**k are they smoking!? all the money that used to fund pro drive is now spent on advertising campaigns such as the intersection one with the guy spinning the wheel. Seriously if people were taught to drive in the first place they'd be more aware on the road and we wouldn't have to watch these stupid ads that some of our tax money pays for! rant over, new rant begin boys racers are dumb. Rollin, cruisin, whatever, just plain dumb. park your car at a friends house, save some petrol, watch a dvd, order some pizzas, play xbox, watch xxx movies, surf the interweb, start a fight club, go to a movie, whatever... What is the point in driving round and round in your piece of sh*t cars clogging the roads, making noise and littering. And then breaking the law, and your cars trying to race, putting other members of the public in danger. You are going to look back and think, man I was gay, I was so gay I just about took it in the bum. Thank goodness for that car slut i scored when i did a donut, or i'd probably still be gay. She was so hot for me after i did that donut, if only she hadn't run off with jimmy lee in his civic after he woo'ed her with his vteching. Moral of the story is if you want to be a real car enthusiast, a real man, with a real car, a real girlfriend, a real credit card and a real idea of anything remotely important then finish school, get a job or an education and grow up and stop being a stupid whining, know it all d*ck. You're not only ruing it for the real car enthusiasts, your ruining it for your own future too! unless you think you'll be 'reppin and rollin' when you're 40?

what an ad! any need for a coastal ecologist, with a masters in geography?

incorrect.excluding reverse you can imagine the driveshaft spinning in one direction ... the guibo has 3 thick sections, each containing 2 bolt holes. If you imagine the gearbox output shaft pulling the drive shaft around in a circle, do you want it pulling via a thin section of the guibo, or a thick section? Although you may flip the guibo back to front you must line up the bolt holes correctly.

Nathan is right, bmw uses orange for it's interior lighting because it is the easiest on the eyes for night time driving, less glare etc. Stolen from bimmerfest ...
