what about give me the money and i'll spend it on something more useful than a stupid personalised plate? besides ... don't give money to the company that is responsible for the "exclusive" euro plates monopoly and several of our members being fined unjustifiably (in my opinion). see here for an explaination

i only chose xnet for their "uncapped" (pay per GB) ADSL2 plan bundled with a VOIP line for a bse fee of $69. Everything else about them is sh*t but i don't know of any alternative, can anyone offer some suggestions.

even with the offset set so that the inside of the rims nearly touch the front struts you'd still need to at least roll the guards to prevent rubbing. 9" dished wheels on the rear of an E30 i can handle but 9" wheels on the front it just silly IMO.

Also feel free to name and shame - these cowboys shouldn't be allowed to get away with things like this, it's not just the 'boy racers' who create unsafe cars, it's the so called "professionals" at places like Ag n Urbo that they listen to.

don't be soft with him. tell him that they don't fit as he promised and that you want a full refund and your old wheels put back on. There is no way you will fit 9inch wide wheels on an e30 properly without having to spend a whole lot of money on a full flare job front and rear. Even if you did do this they are too wide for the car and the cars performance would be affected and not in a good way. Springs won't fix anything.

Haha, I have learned a lot from this thread. I test drove an immaculate manual prado last night, they are a great vehicle. It's up to me to make a decision now, I am leaning towards throwing some money at sorting out the 540 suspension etc and buying the jetski first.

At the end of the day, I blame bad parenting and bad education as the rot of the problem. These problematic people need to be dealt with at an early age. What really pisses me off is when the police press assault charges against the likes of a model citizen store owner with a clean record for hitting a mongrel looking meathead after he allegedly tried to steal from hi store. I don't believe this sh*t should be allowed to make the courts, I mean honestly how f**king black and white does it need to be? (pardon the pun)

I love the idea of a dedicated 4 wheel drive off-road vehicle but practicality says no and so does the bank practicality and the bank say yes to a japanese long wheel base toyota 3.0 TDi Prado. Damn practicality

I need to get some photos up of all the completed aluminium fab work i did. Floor plates, battery bracket, radiator cover, cold air box, door panels. I'm bringing the car along to the anzac meet for those of you who haven't seen it to check it out. Also I have a passenger seat if anyone wants a ride on the day.

I don't make a habit of racing with wet shoes and prefer the solid surface. That plate in the photo however was just sitting there and since has had holes punched in it to lighten it as was originally intended.
