Um have you lived in europe in winter periods? This is what happens to all cars, even one day of driving it in the snowy slushy crap on the roads will do this to your car...

Wouldn't it be easier to have a look at head numbers and block numbers and actually see what is in the car instead of doing this guessing game crap? I got the b27 off sam, so unless he had two of them...

are the door skins legal to be removed?

What is actually legal to rip out? By wof standards I mean.

Diff ratio does make a change but there is a loss of top speed involved.

I ve seen a lot of wof inspectors that miss faults and I've seen a lot of them that are too "strict", so I think if the wofs would be more consistent and mechanics actually chcked cars properly then 1 year would be fine. My friends e36 passed wof with non-existent brake pads on one side, HOW CAN YOU MISS THAT??? It had a bad sound too!

As in the topic looking for e30 6 cylinder instrument cluster coding plug and other part, i know its goimg to be near impossible, but who knows...looking for oil pressure sensor for a greddy gauge. Or even if you guys know where to get them new? let me know:-)
