Wow, the suede roof liner looks good. Nice work Ryan.

I agree. The rules of the for sale section are pretty clear, and call for a price.

^ Hey! Apart from that weird rash that just won't go away and the crabs infestation, the 'Tron girls weren't too bad

Maybe when it left the factory as a standard 5 series...

Haha this is funny. We had these same emails floating around here (word for word, with the exception of 111 being 911) a few weeks ago. Amazing how this does the rounds around the world. I realised that it was a load of rubbish when I came across the word robbers. Who older than 8 uses that word, and I have never heard a police communication use the term. Robbery yes, robber no.

Very average video footage here. I took this with my very old digital still camera, so it is not great. Also just combined all the snippets using windows media maker with no editing at all.

Quite the opposite, by asking questions when you are unsure means you are far from an idiot. An idiot would think they knew best and end up cocking something up.There are plenty of racing series guys here with lots of knowledge and experience, make the most of their offers to help you.

I'm firmly in the "bullshit" camp as well.

Here are some photos from the IndyCar testing day at Infineon Raceway. I'm not going to explain each one, but if you have any questions please ask. The photos are pretty average as I resorted to using my 7 year old digital camera, that needs to be retired for good. I was amazed at the access we had to every area, and that you mingled with the drivers and teams without restriction. The real race (the Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma) is next Sunday. I'll be there for the race. This day was as good as attending the race.

I had two windscreens replaced by Smith and Smith in Penrose. Both times they did a good job. However, I guess the larger the firm, the more squeaky wheels there will be.

I agree, I am enjoying this thread.Keep up the good work. What I especially like is how you are not backward in coming forward with questions for the more experienced people on here. I will continue to follow with interest.

What Westy was saying (and quite rightly in my opninion) is that if you don't have something positively to contribute then butt out of someone elses for sale thread. You never know the original poster may have found someone willing to pay $800 for the car, and you are not helping that with your comments. Also he can ask whatever he likes. For sale threads in particular are ones that people need to be mindful about what they post as things have a different value to different people, and negative comments or questioning the price imapct negatively on the postential to sell and item. If the original poster had posted something along the lines of "I'm thinking of selling this Commodore for $800, what do you guys think?" then sure feel free to contribute with your opinions on its actual value. In addition, the original poster has $800ono. The nearest offer could be $250, and he might be prepared to accept that. Thats my 0.02 anyway.

One of these pops up for sale at least once a year (maybe it is the same one). They are hideous (in my opinion).

I look at it this way, if you want a car that starts every time and runs ok and requires little more than oil/filter changes and other routine maintenance than don't buy an old BMW. If you go into it with your eyes wide open and are OK with a car that will break down a fair bit, and will always need money/time spent on it then an E30 is a good bet. Also they are relatively cheap to get parts for, and easyish to work on. If I read your original post correctly and you are looking at spending $800 on a car, then don't set your sights to high on the reliability/condition chart.

Break = to ruin something, when something fails or to divide something Brake = a devise used to slow progress or decelerate.

I struggle to see Counties Manukau beating Southland, when it is a home game for Southland, and Southland are defending the Shield. Although I have have no affiliation to Southland, I have always admired them and their ability to well as a team. However, this is the ITM cup, and anything can happen when the top tier of players are away with the ABs.

To save Jon posting every second post, can we just safely assume that should you need anything, the chances are he will have it. Give him a call, his number is listed (very) often in this thread.

Without going and confirming, don't the BBC do this every year? Have a short 6 episode season of Top Gear, and then have a 10 episode season later? I thought that this season was OK, I thought there were some really good parts, some average parts and some less than average cringeworthy parts. Although I think the show long since peaked, there are some brilliant slivers. Last night's best moment for me was when Jeremy was making anagrams out of the letters on the other two number plates, and then they showed a sly shot of his and the letters on his were C N U T (or the like). Its those small gems that make Top Gear worth the watch in my humble opinion.

I love Hamilton. Welcome.
