Emerson's Organic Pilsner was my favourite NZ beer by far

Budweiser is less than $US8 a dozen here. I can't stand it, it is too bland for me (as are most mainstream US beers). However there is a thriving microbrewery industry here and I can normally get very good beer for about US$12 a dozen. I have been on a real taste testing frenzy as of late. I can also buy Steinlager here for about the same price as in NZ, in fact it is quite popular here. I always get comments when wearing my All Black jersey. Cheers Grant

Bravo - quality over quantity. Don't reduce your standards! Just drink less. I'd rather 3 good beers than 6 average ones.

Brook (my wife...not a Hamiltonian) just told me that I had better damn well keep my huge internet cock in my pants!!

I have always been a closet Triumph fan. When I was a kid we had a TC2500 for ages.

That is exceptional. I was laughing so hard my wife and 2 year old are ready to check me into the loony bin, and our baby is now scared of me (and no wonder with my laugh...). Please keep going, I want to know what happens next. Cheers Grant

I like that a lot.

I would like to own (and operate with employees) a Cafe/Bar. The emphasis would be on the cafe, and the highest quality coffee (not Starbucks or the like rubbish), however I would like the cafe to also be able to serve alcohol. It would more be a very casual place to meet, have a coffee, beer or wine and hang out rather than a booze barn or club. I think I'm in the minority when I have no desire to work with cars for a living. Cheers Grant

Bravo I like your list. One thought (and I don't know the answer) is that if the US Coast Guard is a Federal Position, then you will most likely need to be a US Citizen. I ran into that issue a lot when looking for work here, basically any Federal position requires you to be a Citizen (however if they are employed by a State or City/County, then you just need to be a Green Card holder (like me for the next 2.5 years before I am eligible to become a US Citizen). Yup - Twitter is everywhere here, and you are right. It seems every cafe, mall etc has free wi-fi in it.Every news program, sports show, current affairs show, wanna be celebrity, sports star etc utilizes Twitter, it is all overkill IMO. I have not used it myself (nor am I interested in using it), but I seem to be in the minority. Cheers Grant

Very cool - great write up. If you find yourself having to come to Norcal to pick up a car, send me a PM. Cheers Grant -

Excellent thread Glenn, have loved reading it from day 1 to now. Glad the results exceed expectations. Right - you need to start another project now to give me something to look forward to reading (now that Graham has as good as finished the S/C transplant the board is running a bit low on cool projects). Cheers Grant
