I never have and never will, I'm really quite opposed to it (in fact quit a job when asked to do a large project for British American Tobacco). However I have a few friends that smoke, I don't harass them or make judgements, they are free to do so and I'm not going to preach to them about it. When it was banned in bars and restaurants, it was great, should have happened 10 years earlier than it did. Cheers Grant

I don't mind the E36 compacts, it is the E46 Compacts that get my vote. Also, I have a pretty strong dislike for a non M Z3. Cheers Grant

Hi All Due to picking the family up and moving them 1/2 way around the world in 6 weeks, I am selling one of our cars (my 328i). Will sell the 323i a few days out from leaving). Rather than type anerything about it again in here, here is the link to the Trade Me auction: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.as...177&ed=true I'll take $9,000 for it now (I have spent a lot more than that in the last 15 months on this car, not including the actualr purchase of the car). However, here is a hint to my Bimmersport friends, the car will be going, so if it is still for sale 10 days out from leaving, I will be putting it on Trade Me for a $1 reserve. We are leaving on the 22nd of October. This is a great car, I would love to keep it, but can't justify the storage fees, and at this stage we are looking to be gone for a good few years (maybe for good). Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Cheers Grant

Neal - I think you completely missed the tongue in cheek, and general smartassedness of my comment. It was aimed at the real estate industry as a whole, and the state it is currently in. I have no idea who owns the M3, how much money he has, what colour his undies are or anything else, nor do I care. In saying that, it is a bloody nice car, and I think that it is worth the $85k or whatever is being asked for it. Cheers Grant

Awesome E30's, 2.7ltr Alpina, Sth.African 325is!!!
Grant replied to mr E34's topic in General Discussion
There was that white 325is Evo on here before as well (I think it was owned by a guy in Otago at some stage). Cheers Grant -
It is pretty damned simple, no need to get your knickers in a twist. If you are actually selling something, then post it in the For Sale section. If you are only pointing to something else that someone else is selling (whether it is on Trade Me, Turners, Trade and Exchange...) it goes in here. Easy enough for you to understand? Cheers Grant

Eddy is 100% correct. Therefore I have moved this thread. Cheers Grant

If he is in real estate, then I am guessing that he will need to go from this to a Hyundai

Don't you mean Nissan? You may not want to generalise about Japanese assembled E36's. One of mine is Japanese assembled and is as reliable as an ox. I think the key is to be very careful with buying a Japanese one, as they are more prone to issues, if they have not been well maintained. Cheers Grant Cheers Grant

Tomo - I give you 10/10. That is just pure brilliance. Well done, and good luck with the sales!! Cheers Grant

Hi Ray I'll take one for the 323, it is a 1996, 4 door non-sunroof (and that common grey colour). Will ring you during the week to organise. How long will it take for you to install? I also have a couple of other things I need off you so will talk to you then. Cheers Grant

I think that it is a shocker.... If you want a M3, buy an M3, why buy a look-a-like? Cheers Grant
-
Would you please at least make an attempt at using proper English, grammar and spelling (it is not just you either, there are some others who are just as bad)?It is appreciated, Cheers Grant

My favourite is the white 318 that he is selling, with the odometer "reading" 91,000. Very clever wording, as the instrument panel has been changed at some point, as it has a Japanese import cluster, not what would be on a South African import. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=171136435 He also always avoids the question asking for the VIN or its actual licence plate. I do feel sorry for the people who buy off him. Cheers Grant
