Stick with the E36 323i, it has the M52. The E36 325i has the older (and not as good) M50. Check for a service history. Otherwise I don't think that there are any major issues with the E36 323i that you should be too wary of, just the normal wear and tear items. Cheers Grant

I quite like it, I also don't mind that it has been de-badged. Cheers Grant

Those are rather funny. Nice work to Craig.

I also liked the (hoax) one about the dolphins that someone had caught and were keeping in their swimming pool. That got some national attention as I remember. Cheers Grant

My thoughts exactly. I guess greed gets the better of them.Is a big issue at the moment here, and the US Govt is warning travelers to avoid Mexico (which is not going down well with the college students who normally head there for spring break). Cheers Grant

Nice - keep up the good work (both with the car and the consumption of hops, water, malt and yeast). Cheers Grant

Whether you like it or not, us moderators do (in my opinion) a fairly good (and thankless, a lot of the time) job. We have a good cross section of the forum members who are moderators. Generally we have also been around this forum since its inception, and have seen too many threads start out well enough, but then deteriorate quickly, and turn into fights etc. We also know, through experience, when these are likely to happen, and hence are quick to shut any topics that are heading down hill. The thread you mentioned earlier about tinting, is exactly one of those threads. It was going downhill very quickly, and Penry did the right thing by locking it. You also have to realise that we moderators have to "set the example" and show a high level of responsibility. This includes showing zero tolerance for posts or threads that are encouraging the breaking of the law, or that are encouraging dangerous practices, no matter how minor the infraction may be. We expect the participants in the forum to respect that. It is unfortunate that every now and then someone has to open a "lets whinge about the moderators" thread. It does get to be pretty tiresome after a while. After all if you don't like how the forum is moderated, you can go elsewhere, it sounds as though from lady525's original post, that someone is starting a "rival" forum. That is cool and if this gets off the ground it will be a good thing and hopefully will give everyone what they want. Cheers Grant

Sorry to hear that you have your beast on the market. You know that as soon as someone drives away in it, you will regret it!! Cheers Grant

Happy Birthday. Have a great day. I know we don't often see eye to eye, but hey wouldn't the world be boring if everyone did!! Cheers Grant

Glad to hear you are ok. Stink about the car, but hey at the end of the day it was only a few pieces of metal and a few bolts.

Very cool, good to see you are back to the M20.

Can you please clear something up for he rest of us?Do you know that there is a difference between an E30 M325i and an M3? I suspect you think they are one and the same. Cheers Grant
