They're 3w Luxeon LED's probably... which require seperate drivers iirc... Not a bad price.. if you were to buy all the parts from jaycar.. You can spend like 60 dollars on drivers alone..

Pies are better in the South Island I'll have have you know.

^^ Nice

I'd luuurve a GT6... My neibour has one... He won't put an M20 in it though D: Is it bad if I like TR8's too? Got Dish?
-
Good luck, I couldn't get any non-genuine. The top hose was like 118 bucks, t-stat waterpump was 80, and the two smaller ones were around 45 each. that's from Cooke Howlison BMW.

Just to get it back ontopic. Project is looking good man, I'll keep an eye on this (need ideas for own car) Which Gearbox are you using? standard G240?
-
Only problem I found with GPS and setting it to your cruise control... is other people are doing an indicated 100kph so you have to slow down all the time D:
-
I'd just run ultimate in that car... I run 95 in the E30 just cause' and 91 in the magnius. Can't get gull force 10 down here.
-
M20B25 is well worth the extra effort. I did the same when my B20 overheated.
-
I like that E28. Looks good Brent! _b

Well, If the head wasn't missing a peice of metal... I'd consider pulling it apart and reparing it (minimum needs a new head gasket) But I also think it's got some rod-knock (when you power it down you hear some deep knocks) I think I will just replace the motor... Again.. Probably M50 now that I'm in no great rush to fix it. @ John.. hahah something like that
-
Yeah, I'm about there but... I've always wanted to make it a decent fun car... now that it's no longer my only car (see 500 dollar mitsi magna hahaha) I can just work on it slowly and collect bits that I need. Side project is to make a really big trebuchet to fire the M20 into the sea.
-
Well, it's broken again. Long slow do it properly the first time, project time.
-
I wouldn't mind seeing this through, Mine has loads of freeplay too. Probably enough so it wouldn't get a warrant.
-
Nice, Pics? Keen on seeing some M30 swappage action.
-
D: How fast were you going? glad noone got too badly hurt.
-
I'd clear them if I was driving the car every single day... but if it was a show car, or a weekend car which you kept in the garage and clean all the time leaving them bare might be okay? No expeirence in either things, though.

^ +1 He must be pretty good at driving whilst drunk... I mean he's not dead yet 0.0

I'll wait a week then I'll make myself in the 20-25 bracket I like it because it's something different... I admit, it's a POS car really isn't particularly usefull. Really doesn't serve a purpose. Would prefer the 1JZ with a tidy E28 with decent suspention so I can drive it spiritedly if I feel like it.
-
I think it might be the cambelt tensioner.... because if you listen closely to around that area (above the alternator) it's the loudest. It's only 3 weeks old if that. grr.

I have been told to turn them off, but not fined.
