Get a cheap M20 and slap it in. stick the M52 in your room as a coffee table untill you have a spare month and more research.

The intake is bigger, well it looks bigger side by side. I'd just leave the motor be for now, and upgrade the suspention, tyres, ect. and if you don't drive it every day, remove the AC + Sound Deadning.

I got a 13.5mm bar off a forum member cheap, new bushes, links ect. got it all in pretty cheaply! Made a bit of a difference, but I have stock springs and KYB Gas shocks I think.

Sounds like an E36? Supercheap auto can get them I think. You'll want something like "BMW 3 Series Repair Manual" From 1991 to 2000?

I'd rather do an M50 swap but I went from M20B20 to M20B25, that was very very easy, so long as the engine is the same engine management as the one that it's replacing. Though, that is a cheap power upgrade, B20 to B25 is day and night (in power difference)

It wasn't boxed or anything. Just a cheap pod. and if you floor the car, it would just be loud and obnoxious. (car was b20auto)
