just put 17's on the drivers side and caps on the passengers, that'll sort out the lean.

Fixed it now <.< still want to replace the pipes at some stage though.

After replacing the waterpump, still leaks from elsewhere... doesn't look like it's coming from the engine (no water on the block/head) I'm pretty sure it's coming from one of the pipes... some of the pipes looked pretty passed it when I had them all out.. I'm tempted to take it to the radiator shop and have it pressure tested if I get no luck in finding the leak tomorrow. however, the car drove fine, temp diddn't get overly high, heater works, even gave the engine a bit of a boot, still no change in temps... Would be keen to get a new set (the big four, rest are pretty fine) Where would be the best place to get all four?

I wouldn't mind seeing ford/holden use their latest designs on the track.... both ford/holden use IRS nowdays, ford's V8 is DOHC. be funny as sh*t to see an XR6 Turbo Vs the V8 holdens <.<

All sorted... Found the original waterpump, a gasket made from a cerial box. and a shagged tensioner... and a fairly rooted cambelt. lawl.

It's the same engine put into the slightly older model aussie built lancers..... SOHC 2.4.

Screw you guys and your pick-a-parts.

I have no proof of cambelt, but if it were to cost an extra hour or two and a hundred bucks ontop of the pump, that's worth it in my mind.

How much extra work is the cambelt? - Would get one and replace it for 25 bucks.. I could read my Bentley PDF... but it's on my laptop haha.
