Wasn't sure where to put this. But, this fella on trademe is stripping a few BMW's locally. I'm after a diff with a taller ratio, sick of the fuel economy. He has a 4:10 out out of an 86 318i which I guess is a PFL. I also guess it's a small casing. He has an E34 520i too (he never said anything about the diff) (would that fit??) No, it won't... Would the older 4:10 be fine, or should I look out for something else? Gear calculator reckons I should be around 2,500rpm @ 100kph, instead of the 2900-3000~ that I do now. Cheers.

What sort of results would you expect from a warrant of fitness brake dyno for an E30? the guy mentioned my results were a little low, but he could see my brakes were new so let me off anyway. I got 190,190 (front) 120,120 (rear) I'm not sure what these mean. but seem high enough?
