  1. Hahaha, I got mine in 2006... and I'm younger than you.
  2. http://jaycar.co.nz/productView.asp?ID=SY4...mp;form=KEYWORD I prefer this type of relay. Much easier to use I do enjoy me some wires.
  3. +1, no rush... Doing the interior first Unless you get demerits for it, I don't really care tbh. I'll just get fined once and not do it again hahaha. I live in Dunedin anyway, have seen tonnes of fake plates. Pfft, Oli, get your full.
  4. I'd love to sell you mine, Hell it's even in good condition. but It's not worth sending it to wellington.
  5. Get a garage door that won't hit my car!
  6. If you find anything in Dunedin you want checked out let me know I've heard on other forums that the 250T has headgasket issues, and the 2L is much better (reliability wise)

    Diffs

4.45 Top Gear is 0.73 (it's auto) Tyres, 195/65/14 (stock weaves) I realise auto isn't exactly the best, but if I went manual the car would rev even higher in 5th.

    Diffs

Wasn't sure where to put this. But, this fella on trademe is stripping a few BMW's locally. I'm after a diff with a taller ratio, sick of the fuel economy. He has a 4:10 out out of an 86 318i which I guess is a PFL. I also guess it's a small casing. He has an E34 520i too (he never said anything about the diff) (would that fit??) No, it won't... Would the older 4:10 be fine, or should I look out for something else? Gear calculator reckons I should be around 2,500rpm @ 100kph, instead of the 2900-3000~ that I do now. Cheers.
  11. I forgot to be a smart-arse and ask if you wanted to swap rims, but haha got no cash to give you your way. GL man, hope she goes to a nice home.
  12. He said he could've got me to go and warm the pads up, but yeah. Uhm, Cheap ones. about 60 bucks for the set from sims brakes... (it's not on the recepit) the brakes do work fine (much better than before) I mean, If I didn't think it was safe, I'd probably complian more.
  13. Have a good read of this (if you haven't found it yet) http://www.e30tech.com/forum/showthread.php?t=48288 It's quite big, but it's a good place to start.
  14. Any more updates on le pug heath? (no secret projects allowed )
  15. What sort of results would you expect from a warrant of fitness brake dyno for an E30? the guy mentioned my results were a little low, but he could see my brakes were new so let me off anyway. I got 190,190 (front) 120,120 (rear) I'm not sure what these mean. but seem high enough?
  16. Drop you at the bottom of the sea Nice car, I like it.
  17. Top and bottom tanks? I don't think you can replace them without specialist gear... I'm no expert though. Just scrap the whole lot imo.
  18. I got me some slightly ripped Grey/Black fabric sports for 200 bucks from the local wrecker... Just pays to keep an eye out Got them both repaired for 100 bucks!

I've got a nice big wagon you can trade your E30 for? haha jokes but really. It'd be damn near perfect.
