Drivers with caravans / large trucks (etc) speeding up at every passing opportunity not allowing you to safely pass, then traveling up hill for 15 minutes sitting at 50km/h with a stack of 20 cars behind them and refusing to pull over. sure pulling over would slow your journey by 30 seconds... but it speeds up every one else's by 10 mins! Main reason for people crashing on motorways IMO? its not because the drivers are simply speeding for the sake of it, its because they were stuck behind some assh*le for ten minutes then feel the need to make up time by traveling at 130. also, as frustration sets in people try make stupid blind passes on corners, etc, endangering both themselfs and oncoming traffic. It seems that someone traveling below the speed limit is more dangerous to other drivers than if they were speeding! Also People that speed up when they see a passing lane. why do people refuse to let other drivers past them if they know they are traveling at 20km/h under the speed limit?

thought 'Beamer' was the term for BMW bikes or something. and BMW cars were called 'Bimmers'? will always call my car a Beamer though

most laptops only have two ram slots. so you would be downgrading by putting one in. (2gb > 1.5gb) you can look for PC2-5300 2gb if you want to upgrade

As for TV's I just bought a samsung 32" series 4 today for just under a grand. works great with freeview and i didnt see many worthwhile upgrades in the series five. definatly go all out on your sound, wharfedale or B&W with onkyo or harmon/kardon amp will always be amazing so try go in that direction

^^^ how do you get into that man. i know there is/was some driving course at Ruapuna (chch) but its far to expensive.

if you need the extra 6 months off the restricted, then do it. otherwise save yourself some money and just do the $60 AA lessons. saves you from not doing the in class sessions. not sure about this, but does the defensive course help lower insurance?

The Defensive driving course at the moment is bullsh*t. 6 in class lessons, learning NOTHING. and one practical test simlpy telling you how to pass your full licence test. there is no way to fail this, get a $170 check and 6 months scraped off your restricted! EDIT: 4 in class lessons. lol

dont even use mine, in the boot, lol all my clips are rooted and kepped getting brake pedel stuck.

are you planning on just making the rear doors not open? or covering them over so you cant see them? cant really see any benefit. 2doors are lighter, but if your keeping the rear doors then that really defeats the purpose. but go ahead if u simply want to see if you can do it, thats what a project car is for wouldn't think you need to re-register it. seen a few BMW's that are registered as M3 but clearly arnt.
