the two e30s ive worked on have been colour coded (both pfl if that makes a difference) but your right, multimeter's do save alot of time. and for speakers, just use a battery.

if this is any help.... uses a stock external amp which most e30s do. take some pictures if your not sure diagram

if you know that basic red (acc) yellow (constant) and black (ground) you should be sweet. most e30s have the correct colour codes and its just a matter of matching the wires

i doubt in 1 year it could have done 96000 km's though (car = 1992). the WOF people screw up the reading all the time

A few photos from Louis (louis297) and me, going for a drive on Governors Bay road on Saturday. Unfortunately on the drive home, i overheated, due to one of my radiator hoses blowing. my POS mechanic put a thin clear hose that melted as we we coming back into chch. luckey it wasnt more serious though, thought i was going to have to look for (another) radiator! The silver E30 is mine, and blue is Louis's. (hope ive sized them right)
