Pre purcahse checks are best done by BMW dealer or specialists. Price difference is not much but specialist will know the BMWs more throughout than AA guys. Try our forum sponsors maybe?

DVD? You'll need over 100 of them. If it's between Windows and Mac, then portable HDD is also out of question. (well, not without involve getting some extra software). Best to stick with network, especially wired network. 400GB will take a good overnight job. So.... you have a old Windows PC and a new Mac is that right? If yes, you'll need to create a folder then map the drive to transfer. If no, please explain what hardware have you got. You also has broadband that has a 4-port router (wireless or not)? If yes, then you can use the cable that you've already got and plug both computers into the back of the router. In most cases, the router and the operating system will sort the connection settings out automatically. If no, then you might need a different cable (cross-over Ethernet or Firewire) and manually do settings. Edit: Typo.

The book is mainly for fund raising, so usually schools, sports club, etc... will have them.

It's not me (yeh I wish) but that plates look familiar. Should really stick a couple of turbo in there to match the plates. Apparently Dinan did a fair few of those conversions along with some 750iL.

By sad motor do you mean they will break or just not running well? I thought they have duplex chains so it should be ok? Suspension - I guess one might want to put something new in them anyway, unless they have EDC or self-levelling suspension. (does the 7s have them?) An excuse to have them SLAMMED.

That really sucks, don't like parking at Plaza there, spaces are too narrow and too many ignorant people but bang the next cars' doors when they get in and out. Best places to park is the area outside post office. There's a restaurant there that opens til late, it's safer. I am not exprt on panel beating but I am guessing couple of Gs easy.

The milage on those doesn't help its value much.

I am not trying to give them a hard time and I do respect the cops, but when people trying to look up to them and for them to set us an example and they didn't. That's what gets me a little. OLLIE: If I really was trying to pix, I would have take a better picture.

These boycott never works in one of these modern commodity. Break out your pushbikes or walk if you really want to stick it up to them.

What's the point of promoting it if the cops are not following it themselves? Interestingly, there's no much tv ad on the 2-second rule anymore. It's all on speeding and drunk driving these days. Sorry for the poor quality pix, but you can clearly make out what's everything. I am doing 1.5 second myself, 95km/h at 100km/h zone. Cop car on right hand lane doing 0.5 second apart, slightly faster than me.

Like other people has mentioned, he might try to pull a fast one on you or something. If he really had worked for them, he should have known better. For all we know, his pants could be on fire.

With your intended use of computer, I would say any laptop priced around $1000 - $1500 mark will be sufficient. However, make sure it has a MINIMUM of 1GB RAM, especially if it has Vista (any version) installed. Personally used 2x IBM (now Lenovo), 1x Acer and 1x Sony. IBMs are solid, well built and reliable. Acer gives good value for money. Sony quite stylish in my opinion but built quality not that great for their budget (sub-$2000) machines. Also, any Mac laptop will also be good. If you are buying used Mac, try to get the later one with Intel based CPU. My 2 cents.

Damn, my name's similar to a couple of them but not exactly me. Thanks for sharing.

It's awesome, but that rear bumper looks similar to the Porsche Turbo.

Price on fixing engine problems can surprise you both ways. Have a check with Glenn first. It's better than screwing it up playing around and to end up paying even more.
-
It's not mine, but why? Did you crashed into it or something?

My work might have one lying around which is faulty (screen still working though). I'll find out for you on Monday. Offer? I'll talk to my boss.

They are not cheap and they take forever, every time I go there is an hour minimum wait even for the most basic combo. I rather do that myself.

As topic I park my car outdoor with a lot of sun shine hours, it doesn't seem to matter what I use, the tyres goes dull and brownish quite quickly (a week or so). I've tried a few products, silicone spray, ArmourAll Tyre Gel, Plastic Trim Spray/gel, Tyre Shine spray (also tried apply those by brush) which none of those seem satisfactory. Either they don't stay black for very long or they splatter all over the mud guard and bumpers (even when I let it set overnight). What does the pro or trade use?

I've sold a fair few in my shop and two of my staff use it. Are you having trouble with it or want to find out more about it?

Some James Bond gadgets would come in handy... 140 dB external siren, Electrified door handles, Pneumatic door poppers so powerful that can knock hijackers back 20 feet. some like that~!

Well, nowadays teenagers TXT while riding bicycle single handed and without helmets. Obviously, TXTing is more important than life! Banning mobile phone use (or at least make handsfree kit compulsory) would save more life than the Election Spending Bill.
