No problems. You are correct on that, for gym/running, stick with flash-based iPod - Nano and Shuffle (and of course, the Touch and iPhone if you really so inclined). Realistically, who need 5000+ songs at a gym? For this very reason, that's why there is no official Apple-branded arm-band case for the HDD based iPods.

Petrol stations in Hong Kong are full serviced. You are NOT allowed to fill your own car for some reason that I don't know. If you pay cash, you can just give it to the person filling the car up, so you can almost literally drive through. In NZ I use Shell because it's the closest to me (2x Shell stations within 1km of my home - WTF) and I have a Shell fuel card. Shell has the best service and at least someone will come trying/asking to help you 3 out of 5 times. Mobil and Caltax are tie for worst, Gull and BP are self-service at pump, but the shop service is ok. I sometimes use Gull for the bio-fuel. Back to topic, the Shell V-power here is different from overseas. In Hong Kong, they say the V-power there are of colour Blue and octane of 98+. I'd say the V-power here is just normal 95 with some unknown/secret additive. They said there is fuel-saving additive in Shell fuel last year, which I didn't realise any improvement, why would this time be any different?

I sold lots of iPods in my shop and the fault rate is actually less than 1%. By fault I mean actually need servicing by Apple. Lock up doesn't count as a fault. If your iPod locks up, you can try reset which for almost all iPod is to hold down Menu + middle-of-clickwheel button for a few seconds until the Apple logo comes up. For iPhone and iPod Touch, it's Menu + Power button until Apple comes up. If you think your iPod locks up a lot, please check if it is always locking up when you do a particular thing or a particular song/video. Sometimes data gets corrupted during transfer or the HDD written a glitch into the file when loading songs can cause this. Do a full restore through iTunes will usually helps. Finally, be patient with it. Many people complains the lock up are the ones with HDD based iPod (as oppose of flash-based like Nano). With the large number of song/video, together with HDD spin-up times and what not, the HDD versions sometimes perceived as "hang" but when it is actually trying to catch up. I had a 20GB 3rd-gen, 40GB 4th-gen and a 60GB photo during the past 4-5 years and never had any problem, and I am not a light user at all.

Link to income? So, what happen when you are beneficiary? Small Euro diesel are great, I drive around in a Polo diesel here in Auckland. $65 per tank for 600km easy (with frequent canning) With RUC factored in, it's still a fair bit cheaper than equivalent petrol.

McLaren F1 roadcar Porsche GT3 RS (Green with yellow cage) Aston Martin DBS Honda NSX Land Rover Range Stormer (it's a concept car I know, still) erm.... no BMW, that said, the McLaren has a BMW engine.

I just started as a inner-city Courier for URGENT. www.urgent.co.nz As self employ contractor, I drive myself in a VW Polo BlueMotion diesel.

Is this similar to what they did to the 7-series in the movie Taxi when Gisele Bündchen (the bank robber) and her gangs getting away??

I own 4 plates and 2 was bought direct from Plates and the other 2 are from Trademe (and cheap). Plates.co.nz now charge some silly amount for the plates and I say this put off people from owning even more. A plate only worth what someone else is willing to pay for.

Navman in 2006 range has a in-dash, DIN size headunit that plays DVD with 7" motorised screen. Since they are quite old, you might be able to find one at your price range. There's no text-to-speech for road names though. As for map updates, well, when is the last time you update a map book? Mine's almost 6 years old. Software updates are 10x the price of a map book if available at all, so buy a map book as supplement to your GPS unit.

Not 100% sure on e30, but I know the following for e36 which should be close. The inspection light can refer to yearly inspection (or is it bi-yearly?) and a service inspection. The yearly one is mainly to remind you to change brake fluid and should have a clock symbol next to it. The other one goes from SERVICE -> INSPECTION (1) -> SERVICE -> INSPECTION (2) -> SERVICE -> INSPECTION (1) ..... Correspond to different things that need to be looked at at different times.

I'd say stay away from State. Honda Jazz ($19k, 2005), 2 speeding ticket, 1 vehicle write off. Include business use but exclude under 25. ... wait for it... $2500/year. 1500 excess !!!! Called a couple of brokers and got... NZI = $1400/500 excess, Vero = $1400/750 excess.

Penry's suggestion is valid and I use it myself when I need reformat, etc... However, it does not transfer playlist, rating, play counts or anything like that. For future reference. After you've rebuilt it, iTune 7 lets you backup all your music and playlist into either the iPod itself (that allows you to restore) or on to CD/DVD. (File -> Backup to Disc)

Maybe try a bar school?

I would not for a world to sacrifice my dearest's safety. I did consider that. The trick is such that it simulate the seat is always occupied. Hence the passenger airbag will fire with or without a passenger.
-
I would and they should. However it doesn't mean they can.

I agree with you. Not illegal doesn't make it "right" and being police officers should have set a better example for us to follow. (Like the 2-second rule thing that we seen some time ago) I am all for banning "hands-on" use of mobile phone while driving. It should make hands-free kit compulsory if one need to use a cellphone in a car. TXTing while driving should be shot dead whether you can touch type or not. Also, while on driving distraction. They should also ban cyclist, bikers and drivers from wearing headphones (Seen it many times but don't know why. Maybe because their stereo is broken?)

Don't realise driver seat has seat sensor mat. Make sure they didn't use the LHD system to diagnose your car, if so, it would mean the passenger seat. Had some problem with the passenger seat mat before, got an auto-sparky to work some magic to trick the system. It's not an "official" fix of course and it beats the purpose of having the mat in the first place, but the airbag will still fire when needed which is all I care.

Depends on where the money goes I guess. Like Hybrid said, if it goes who the council for the area that was collected from then it's good. For London, I think you pre-pay the charge before you drive into the city where there's camera to get your plates.

Later car are almost always safer. There's a Fifth Gear episode where they crash test a small Renault into a old Volvo. The Volvo was DEMOLISHED, where the Renault doesn't even need to pop the air-bags. While there might be genuine accidents, but I bet many of them are driver error. Change lanes from lane 3 to off ramp and missed the barrier? (The M3) What was he/she thinking???

Pretty good game for free. Thanks for sharing.

At least all of us here are smart enough to figure that is more likely a scam than anything else.

Seen them a few times, Auckland central, Newmarket, etc... There's a Merc S-class, a red and a yellow Ferrari from what I've seen. Nice cars, shame on the decals. Screams scams right from the get go.

Found this link... http://www.emotors.ca/Articles/77.aspx Talking about 330Ci/M3 brake swap for E36. Hope this helps.
