  1. Good job on Google. Fully reflect their mantra - "Do No Evil". If BMW.ge didn't do that in the first place, they would not have blacklisted.
  2. I got 18 of 26 "officially" right, 4 I can't spell, the rest no idea...
  3. <extracted from bimmerforum.com forums> People, please use the proper connectors. And when you do, do it the right way. You will note in one picture, the use of fork connectors w/ two wires shoved into one hole, crimped, and then the forks bent over. THAT IS NOT WHAT THEY ARE FOR. If you want to be a grown up and do some soldering, please use HEAT SHRINK TUBING, not electrical tape. Intelligently plan your system, wire runs, and outcome, and then build it that way. If you can't afford to do it proffessionally or have it done professionally, then DONT DO IT. BE A GROWN UP, not everyone can have everything they want as soon as they want it. Take pride in your work and the quality of it, don't goof around. Your life and your car are too expensive to risk on crap (value placement varies). http://www.dakarm3.com/Stereo/323is
  4. If you are referring to the front corner lights, they don't. Side repeaters do though.

    M7 spotted

Drop those Z3 "gills" and get an AC or Alpina front bumper, lower a couple of inches with larger wheels and windows tints then it would look a lot nicer.

    Panel filter

slightly (if any) different intake noise at high rev, that's about it.
  8. I reckon both 10-2 and 9-3 are fine. Maybe 10-2 works a little better on a track as you don't need to switch hands as much. 9-3 work well on road for me.
  9. Weren't there one exactly like that on sale at Trademe couple of weeks ago? (not exactly helping, I know....)
  10. $350 reserve? Can almost order something more decent, like Depo projectors from eBay or something.
  11. I got just over 90000km on the clock, so maybe due for an O2 sensor. But seems to be in line with few other guys here. Maybe your 328i is in really good shape!Speaking of clogged CAT, can I de-CAT the exhaust on an OBD-II e36? (admins: please let me know if I should open new thread on this one)
  12. Suppose you could grind them down right?
  13. Just by looking at the picture, it's the last of the pre-facelift model. (Evident by old-style kidney grill and air-bag, as well as the side repeater light) But it seems well spec with dual zone climate control, 10-speaker "premium" audio, electronic check-control, arm rest and M-tech body kit. Milage is pretty ok for its age, just make sure it's been serviced properly and all servicible parts has been looked at. (at this milage, everything should have at least changed once, incl. O2 sensor) If you will look at performance mods, it should still have the older OBD-I (M50)engine which has a slightly higher potential for less money compare to the later ones. (made in 96 and after, not include your one. As yours probably made in late 95 but registered in 96) My 2 cents, hope these helps. Any experts out there please correct me if I am wrong. PM the last 7 digit of the VIN and should be able to get you more accurate things on what exact engine it has.
  14. Go Europlates with plate holder!! No visible screws from outside.
  15. no way!a 2.3L car to do that good in town driving, are u sure u didnt mean open rd!? yeah a 325 will do better on open road than a 320 and around town they're about the same! if i went to buy agian i'd get a 325 but getting a manual bmw here is just about impossible, especially an e36! agreed, I seriously doubt an auto 2.5 would get that good milage round town. Thats the stuff of civics. Maybe you mean 8.3km/L? - 8.3km/L = 12L/100km which would be more believable. Sorry, my bad.... Grab the numbers from the wrong column of my Excel sheetit was 8.3km/litre or 12 litre/100km. Sorry guys~ Wish that 8.3 litre thing was true though...
  16. I am quite sure that the main light is the same throughout the production period and body shape. Just the corner light is different.
  17. That's a bit over the top ain't it?
  18. Are you sure?Google Calculator
  19. Why do you pre-purcahse check the car after you buy it?

what year is your caR? (I had a bunch of them by year, around 10-20MB each)
  22. So, are the e90 coupes and convertibles be actually 4-series? (425i, M4, etc..) Can't wait for the 9-series....
  23. new speakers should not need to remove the parcel tray, unless you are installing larger than stock size. (please don't be 6x9s) Peel the speaker grill off and you can access the mounting screws of the speakers. Brent was right, there's some clips to remove (black arrow in pix) then pull the tray forward (towards front of car)
