Just jam some standards in it to get WOF then put the compressed ones in (which is dodgy & pretty much illegal due to reasons someone else can indulge into). My sump cleared the 110mm rails the WOF guys at "Hamilton WOF Centre" drive it over so they didnt care about the springs. As for the headlights, thats a pain to adjust (do your best then ask them if you can do it in their light tester thing).

Need to take thos ugly advertising plate frames off - unless of course, you want them cos they got BMW of them Nice car btw, not a bad score for a daily.
-
Just like "RX3SUM" for the Mazda...its gone. People have to admit there are same damn good ones out there...
-
Wow $260 for a 45c stamp! How many were produced?
-
Got interior pics of the car? Whats it need for the exterior & interior to be complete/tidy? Is the paint rough?
-
You said she canceled the rego, which means it was dereg'd so, no, you are not liable. Cos according to you, the lady said it was canceled - same thing as de-regd.
-
hahah my thoughts were that. but just thought I'd check... in case someone else has tried & didnt work or it did or whatever. Got a few days yet to decide.
-
If that was my standard issue plate, Id buy it must be worth a bit of dosh to some satanist who loves wars lol
-
Thats what I thought it meant, but seller said it was meant as "14ADREIN" or however they spelt their name... how the hell AGEE means that name - I dont know lol

Does anybody know if car mats made for the E60/E63 will fit the E30? An auction on Trademe for a full set - drivers mat looks similar to E30 drivers mat. But would anybody know for sure? Seller said, if not, cut to fit then have them resewn - which is a good idea.

Thats a cool plate. I like it. And BMTHUG is awesome too. But I got "5PEED1" atm, for sale on the sale forum... never know But once thats sold (if not then taken off) will be replaced with "14AGEE" (I will get it remade into - 1 4A GEE)- yeah a bit lame but it was only $72 so I dont care. I've got heaps of plates, most of them on Trademe but the ones I am keeping will be worth a sh-t load to the right person, in a few years, when Plates is literally soldout.

To check that, do I just jack car up (wheel off) & try twist the spring and see if its sitting in properly?
-
Was told you cant do anything with the rearwheels (by my mate who done, he is qualified, works as manager at a Buearepairs) and by a person on here (on another thread by someone else). So thats 2 people... I dont see how the rearwheels can make the front wheel pull left? Have just put my 14s back on, and still does it. So its not the 17s. Will ring around a few places and see who can give it a check to see what needs replacing. Only one real way to find out. But thanks for the advice guys.

It has Jamex (I assume as they are red) lowering springs all around. About 35/40mm drop. I may just take it to a suspension place & ask them to have a thorough look over it & just mark up what needs replacing... I kind of think that may be all of it If gonna be too much, may just hock this E30 off for cheap and save up for one that is 100 x's better. I dont want to be flooding thousands of $s into this when for the money I am probably bound to spend on it, I could just buy one that is already mint (by looking at trademe).
-
Phew. So I am right thinking these are a bit overpriced. Will be looking at upgrading my suspension (as per my othe thread) so had a look on Trademe and found these. But thats good, knowing that I can get alot cheaper. Cheers.

This- http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-271507539.htm And this- http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-271507540.htm Are these prices normal for these items? That seems pretty damn expensive... gonna have to go get a increase on my mortage to buy these

How would that check the tyres? Not questioning your suggestion, just wanting to know how I'd know? Most the time you roll a wheel with a tyre they just fall over?! And its been balanced, so I'd assume they would pick up a warped tyre on the balancer?

Come on guys, serious replies or f--k off. Still a 4DOOR and FOUR 17s on it. As for those with constructive replies, I will look into it. May be the suspension, it isn't the greatest. It pulls occassionally (most of the time), mainly after I have done a left turn (eg turning onto a new street) then when I turn right (even if just a corner) sometimes its ok until I turn left again. Also has a small shudder at highspeeds. The pulling is sometimes hard, as in, let it go and its almost instantly off the road & sometimes it just very slowly pulls. Has always been doing this, which is why I took it in to be done (done it twice, but had to replace 2 items then went back in for a free one) & yes he did do adjustments. Hes a mate so he aint gonna screw me over. Also said he cant do the rear wheels (im sure someone on here said that in another thread a while ago you cant do the rears)?!? But I guess I'm just gonna have to save up & get some new suspension & steering parts. But he didnt say anything looked dodgy (apart from the 2 items I've already replaced since the 1st alignmenr). ---The 17s are missing the centre caps. That would make any difference would it? Heard thru the grapevine (not from a pro, just a random) that missing centre caps can cause wheels to be unbalanced? True or Flase?
-
Have had a fresh wheel alignment. Both front tyres are new & same pressure & are balanced. What could be the reason for the car pulling to the left?
-
I like both. But agree that it needs a wider wheel, to fill in the gaurds. I saw this car down Terapa ages ago on a Friday night, looked good. Nice to see people doing something different.

I'd laugh if someone bought it, and then used it

Am wanting 4x the exterior door handles for the E30. FL or PFL they are all the same. And if possible, the 2 screws for each one (if not, no big deal). Not worried about condition as long as no dents and not bent (dont care if paint faded). Will be using them for an experiment. PM me if you got 4 (or more) along with a price (including post cost).

Jeffs for sure. Used them and no problems whatsoever. Car was non-drivable and was still delivered the next day.
