This would have to be the pick of the E36 M3 range? http://www.classicthrottleshop.com/modernclassic11.html

A mate just sold his E36 so he no longer needs the plate. As stated in the title it reads: E36 Price $1300

Thats an Evo II bodykit on a 190E Cosworth.
-
He has 2 exhaust systems.

I wouldnt bother, I cant see the NZV8's getting off the ground this coming season, but if it does its going to be a very small feild. Most of the good guys are over in the V8 Super Tourers. That what you want to link your race series with.

Yip, its a mate of mines car. He often drives it. Always puts a smile on my face when I see it in the staff car park

You have 2 options re tyres for an F40, P Zeros and Michelin.
-
4 of them in the country.

Only three NZ new 20V Turbo (RR's) in NZ, plus one white UK import. Two of the NZ new RR's are currently on TM, the third one (black) lives in Hastings and is owned by a family friend.
-
Where did the M5 come from? Not many Sliverstone Blue E39 M5's in NZ.
-
I dont know if BMW NZ has anything to do with BMW OZ, but BMW NZ is owned by BMW Germany.
-
Is this the car that was owned by the guy at The Healey Shop?
-
Couldnt agree more.

So 40K NZ, plus 7K to get it here and on the road = 47K for a CSL done around 170,000kms. How many people do you think will put there hands up for that? A family member was offered a NZ new high km E60 M5 for less than 30K . . .

If you believe what you read on the net only 231 were built: http://www.fantasycars.com/sedans/HTML/alpina_b8_e36.html The JDM had four detuned ones. -
These are pretty cool (and rare):

Yip, on Saturday there was 3 Avus Blue E39 M5's in the one at HD, this one, my Brothers and a facelift one. We did speak to the owner of the above car, it sounded like he needed the money and it wanted to replace it with a manual E34 540 or the like.

I saw this car at Hampton Down last Saturday. Seemed like a nice car (couple of rims could do with repaint). http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/...n-442057707.htm

Do you know your E30 M3 specs? Basically 3 versons country wise, European, US and Japanese. The differences? European: Dogleg gearbox, larger gas tank (second tank behind the rear of the back seat) USA: Standard H pattern gearbox, side lights, no extra gas tank behind the seats Japanese: Standard H pattern gearbox, large gas tank. In saying that, a number of European spec cars have found there way into Japan so you can find euro spec cars in Japan. They other thing to watch is that so many Japanese E30 M3's have been tuned and tracked.

"1990 E320 M3 2.5 Sport Evo 1 of 505 made" Im guessing thats meant to be E30? Also werent 600 produced? Either way I looking forward to this event. -
It's Oscars (ex?) Sport Evo.

Basically is a test between an E30 M3 and a 123D (simular performance figures). I love the last paragraph: "The E30 M3 is still the ultimate M-car and therefore the ultimate BMW. I wonder what we'll be comparing it with in another 25 years . . ."
