Finally we caught the ute in the workshop ....

Sprayed cross member. Arranging all the parts and ordering new bits. Hoping to remove engine and trans tomorrow and will fit in 2-3 weeks if all goes to plan.

Can I put this here?... I aint no Holden fan...and not a member of any other forum. Put the L76 engine and trans on the bench today to inspect for needed parts. Going to do this before the E39. Subframe. Radiators. Body harness. Diff. Fuel pump. Air induction.Hsv headers...bla bla blaaa. Oh yea..HSV massive brakes... Planning to do a 48hr swap...if all goes well.

2002 525i 5spd. 192km Drove this car for 4 years. Well maintained. Was due for a vehicle upgrade (to either a 335 coupe or e46 M) but couldnt part with the babe and decided to custom fit a Ls2 V8. Engine and gearbox still in running vehicle. Complete conversion kit with ecu, alternator, starter, radiator, driveshaft, gear lever, all mounts etc. Platinum plugs, thermostat+housing, expansion tank and hoses, oil filter housing seal, pcv system replaced. Engine still runs strong. I bought a Sc14 supercharger to fit but after calculations decided to opt for a transplant rather. Will give a warranty. Compression test will soon be done. Can deliver around Auckland. $2500... or make me an offer. Would prefer to sell it as a kit....but around $1600 for the gearbox conversion kit $180 for the Sc14 charger. ...

Thanks for the input guys. I like the 18s but just wanted to do something different, I saw a set of 19/11s& 9.5s and thought stuff it....lets go up for a challenge of squeezing those 20s inn. Unfortunately there is a change of plans. Sadly I have decided after prolonging this disliked season, is to sell the car. I need the funds for a business venture with keeping a white E92 M3 in my vision.

Yes, price does include spray painting and repairs to slight curb damage which came before my time of possession. I was doing some trials to see which colour suited the look. I was going for original light alloy silver, the same colour the rim came with, with a high gloss clear. The choice is yours brru.

Hi. Are you going to do radiator hoses while you are in that area? Also the oil filter seal as you've said? There is also a small o ring that fits onto a sensor by your lower right radiator hose that are prone to leak.might want to replace that too.

Just fitted 2 235/40/18 fronts and 2 245/40/18 rears to ac schnitzer rims that i had found last year,......if I must say.....I like the ride!!!
