Turns out it's not the wheels. Most likely drive shaft related. But the guys at Wheelfixit were great and very helpful.

1M owners in the UK are in some instances getting unsolicited offers for over what they paid.

Anyone used them? The back left rim ( basket weave ) seems to be on the piss so need to get it looked at. Have booked it in for later today but thought I'd better double check.

Collectable only in terms of cars produced most likely. The EVOII is arguably the most collectable isn't it?

6MT like in the states? School boy error. -
So what's that, just over $40k landed and WOF'd?

That's what I mean. Why as a dealer ( potentially the importing dealer, it was a USA car ) would you fit cheap tyres, your target market is going to notice, and probably impact negatively on the rest of the car. Could the interior be a US spec?

Why on earth when trying to sell a car like this, aimed at a pretty specific part of the market, would you put Starfire tyres on the car? Firstly, What's Starfire? Secondly, what else on the car has been corner cut? It's been on here a while, along with the "TWR" M3. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/...n-527851499.htm

Bit of a generalisation. I've got the touring insured through NZI ( through a broker who has handled my families insurance + family business insurance to be fair ) for far more than what they originally thought it was worth, and more than it was bought for. Also, before I insured through NZI, I got AMI to give me a quote, and they were incredibly good. Spoke to a young lady for about 30 minutes as she went backwards and forwards with someone else in the office about the car, in the end, they had agreed in principal to value the car at what I wanted, pending a valuation from the guy who ended up doing it. AMI was actually cheaper than NZI, but because of the other insurance policies we have with NZI, it works out cheaper overall ( just not on the car ).

This. I got a well known independent workshop ( who works on the car ) to do an insurance valuation on the car for me which included the wheels, but didn't specify a price, just mentioned their rarity/ condition etc. That's your best bet. NZI were happy with that and didn't question anything, nor did they question the agreed value. In fact, they were very good about the whole thing.

Seen you a few times around Parnell. Very, very nice car. Congrats.

Probably for good reason... Would be a prick to maintain. And it's generally found outside either of the Stephen Marr hair salons in Auckland.

There's a place just down from K' RD/ Ponsonby RD towards Golf Warehouse on the left. Can't think of the name right now.

The previous owner utalized it to drive incredibly obnoxiously.

I get a vibration through the car ( '88 325 ) between 95 - 105KMH. 4 brand new tyres, balanced and aligned. Had it in getting serviced last week and they thought it would be a balance issue, so had the tyres re-balanced/ rotated today. Vibration is still there. Any ideas?

"BABYM3" on the Northern motorway yesterday.

This car is owned by the previous owner of my Touring. It's in very, very nice condition. Shame he's selling it.

It was the slave. Now the pedal feel is completely different, in a bad way.

Drove home and everything seemed fine. Got in the car in the morning and found the clutch pedal was dead, no resistance at all, it will return by itself when you release it. Master cylinder? The fluid level is slightly below MIN.

Finally had some time over the weekend to investigate the problem. The drivers seat was leaning to the back right. Took the seat out and found this had happend, how, is anyones guess as the span is pretty short. (The picture is looking up from underneath the seat base to the right hand frame.) Anyone know if I can just order the specific part? Or does the whole seat base frame need to be ordered? Can it be welded? These are the seats.

Not going to touch the exterior, or interior for that matter. Will just work on the handling. Flirted with the idea of yellow tinted lights, but won't go down that road I don't think.

Not sure. Thanks guys.
