These guys are doing it right. -
Wondered who was leaving those 11's up Richmond Road.
-
I'd imagine it gives them some pretty good feedback on the longevity of the parts. A rolling testing program that covers it's costs.

1M in Birkenhead with a slight gold finish to the wheels. Very very nicely done. Anyone know the car ( 1 XX 1 type number plate ) and know what finish it actually is?

Awesome. Clio Spot 172 on there as well. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/renault/clio/auction-658137582.htm And in another price league, a sweet 2011 Clio RS. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/renault/clio/auction-654692778.htm

They are different cars. Much like the E46 and E92 M3's are.
-
Well it has got wheels worth at least $3000, and a nice V8 sound.

I'm pretty sure he does it every year ( or every couple, can't remember ) for tax reasons. So I guess in a roundabout way, money is the worry..

Lindsay Fox cars?

20W-40 Magnatec in my 2.7L. ( and only BP Ultimate 98 ).

They take a lot of cars on consignment don't they? Could just be the owner wants an unrealistic price, meaning they have to mark it up high to make anything on it?
-
That thing must have done mega miles. Been seeing it for years.
-
Screw owning one outside of warranty.

Perhaps the extra 10k allows for being "celebrity" owned. Used to drive past this car everyday. Owner certainly seemed to be a BMW enthusiast.
-
Meguiars "Hot Rims" in the pink bottle. Cleaning the basket weaves drives me mad, so only do it maybe 1x per month, and take the wheels of to clean the barrel maybe 2x a year.

Also a sweet Black Ford Mondeo ST220 Station Wagon on Glenfield Road.
-
Blue ( or was it black? ) E30 coupe on what looked like RS reps on Glenfield Road on Sunday. Looked like some blueish smoke coming out of the exhaust, hopefully nothing major. Then a black Ferrari 575 Barchetta enjoying the sunshine over by Long Bay. The best modern Ferrari me thinks.

You'd have to be doing something silly to do that kind of damage on that corner.
-
It's this car isn't it? http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/43848-e30-m327i-stroker/

I don't think it would have raced in the Superturismo during the Group A regulations in that specification. It almost looks like a European hillclimb spec?

What's your budget?

Where can you wash your own car - Wellington?
vtgts300kw replied to amdaman's topic in General Discussion
I am sure I walked past a place ( mechanics or a detailer ) near Cambridge Terrace that opens up in the weekend for people to come and wash their cars. Anyone know what I am thinking off?
