  1. Yeah, I picked up a set of four 4x100 -> 4x114.3 25mm spacers last year for around $100 IIRC, but I left them on my old e30 when I sold it. Thought I'd try my luck finding some at that price again, but it's not looking too likely!
  2. Spent almost $300 on registration
  3. Haha, I just said it because he made such of a big deal of it not being a diamante
  4. Bump, anyone else? Mike - still waiting on that email Cheers
  5. Saw that this morning too. My girlfriends explanation is that someone stole it, and that was their attempt to hide it so they can come back later to pick it up

    Random e30 parts

Any chance of a drivers door central locking solenoid? (If they're even different to others?)
  7. +1, any idea when that shipment of e30 wheels will be in? Or are you able to send me some photos of what they will look like? Just looking at buying wheels and if I like something you're bringing in I will wait

Oh damn, my friend just got back from there. Might be worth trying to get someone to send it though, if it saves me the taxes! So if it's a gift, the value does not matter?

Oh, I see. Ok sweet as, here is a link to the company by the way, has anyone ever heard of them? http://www.interparcel.com/
  10. Hmm.. not worth much. May aswell give it to me. Hah nah but seriously, very nice! Sorry not sure what it's worth, but looks like a nice example, would say around 15k? Put it on trademe. Or hold on to it for a while and I might just be interested (next year-ish lol)

Yeah I know, I was surprised. Most companies seem to be charging around $500-$600, but spending that much would defeat the purpose of getting the wheels. Why do you say cheap isn't good? Do things tend to get lost? Or damaged? Cheers for the input

Ahh right that sucks. They are actually bang on $700 with the current exchange rate. So you recon it'd be easier to just have them sent over? I might still get them and do that, only problem is that the cheapest shipping I've found is in the $300's from memory, and the wheels aren't THAT special.
  13. Drove it out of the garage, cleaned it for a few hours, looked at it for a while, drove it back into the garage

New, in boxes. Why does that make it tricky? No rush, the sooner the better but I've gone so long without shiny wheels I'm sure I can last a little longer! How long are you thinking?

I'm looking at bringing a set of wheels over from the UK, so I thought it's worth asking if anyone is, or knows of someone who is, bringing over a container from there some time soon? Willing to pay a couple hundred or something. Thought it's worth a shot. Or if anyone knows of a cheap shipping company. Cheers
  16. Sweet, and just to check, they would be hubcentric? Sorry for the questions online, I'm at uni atm, will call you when I'm home. Cheers
  17. Cheap as at supercheap anyway I'm pretty sure
  18. I had the wet footwell problem in my old e30, it was the "elephant trunk" that comes out of the firewall into the engine bay just behind the right front strut. It's the drain for the sunroof, it gets clogged up with 20 years worth of sh*t, just pull it off and clean it out and pop it back on. That worked fine for me (only causes the drivers side to flood iirc). Google it, pretty sure theres a fair bit of info on the net about it, but they called it passenger side (for obvious reasons). Worth a try.
  19. I Figured it's worth a try, does anyone have some bolt on 4x100 - 4x114.3 spacers? I've got some wheels lying around that are 4x114 and figured I may aswell put them on my e30 until I can afford better wheels Would obviously need 4, prefer around 20mm. Don't mind if it's two pairs of different thicknesses either. Let me know what you have, or if you know a good cheap place that makes/sells them. Cheers
  20. Used to see this car daily in Parnell, looks and sounds sweet! Love the plate aswell
  21. Welcom Kieran, if it's just a standard seat they are common as, check trademe or keep an eye on the FS section of this forum. Or make a thread in the WTB section. I'm sure plenty of guys have old ones to practically give away. Are you from the coast? Or were you just up here when that pic was taken? And sorry but those wheels don't do it for me.. at all. But that's just my opinion, if you like 'em, keep 'em. Have fun!
