Thanks, already bought one (with the vent!).

I'm just about to head off to supercheap to buy a new battery for my old man's e46 318i touring, and I thought I'd quickly check if anyone had any particular recommendations for ideal replacements? The current battery is original BMW, part number 90 60 0 305 136 and is rated at 55ah and 480CCA. Am I right to think that as long as I get a battery with at least the same amp hours and cold cranking amps ratings, it'll be fine (and similar dimensions, terminals on the same side, etc)?

Cool man, well done! Looking forward to more pics

Haha woah, how far that car's come in the past four years!

That bloody fly...

No rush, just if the sale happens to fall through. Do you have two or just the one? Just one of those non OBC digital one line display clocks
-
Let me know if the front wheel bearing sale falls through (how much did you want for it?) Got the clock today by the way - cheers! Took me way too long to make that change.

Haha sorry wasn't getting worked up if it sounded like that, I was just curious cause I know a few Jordans from the coast. Oh the blue e30 that's in Red Beach quite often isn't mine, it's standard(ish) on gold 15" RS reps (if it's the one I'm thinking of). Haven't had my e30 up on the coast since the summer I think, I'm living on the shore at the moment. Sorry I'll stop taking over your FS thread now, I'll let you know how I go with that leather replacement though. Did you want just a black one, or a blue one for this seat as well?
-
I'm from the coast too! Do I know you? Jordan who?
-
Sweet I've emailed them, hopefully the postage isn't too much! I'll let you know when I hear back.

Can you post up a link for the replacement bolster leather? I need it!

WTB: E30 Bits (Eyelids, Dash Under Tray, Boot Carpet etc)
sascha replied to Kaz's topic in Want to buy
Ah yep that's right I've seen that thread before. I might look in to picking up some of that garage door seal at some stage just until I get around to making a splitter/win lotto and buy of those that John posted. Probably won't look the best but it sure beats ripping my new paint up all the time. The only thing I'm not too keen on is drilling holes into my lip for it. Actually I might not. We'll see! -

I've been on the lookout for a splitter like that since I got my front techII resprayed, so if you find some good ones let me know! I also thought about those ebay ones, but I think as soon as you scrape the front even a little (i.e. every time I leave home for me) that sticky tape is going to rip right off.. There's also these ones on Ebay : Visit My Website They have a video showing how you can scrape the ground all you like with no damage, and it looks pretty good. I was just put off by their ridiculously amateur listing and marketing attempts - just reading the ebay listing is almost enough to make your head explode! Seems a bit overpriced as well since they're really just sending you a rubber strip and then giving you "tips" on how to install. That cheaper one you posted could work, but it should really be mounted more securely (rivets/bolts?) like suggested in the one I've posted. Alternatively there could be something similar at the local hardware store? Another alternative is to make a solid one yourself which I would love to do if only I had that much spare time at the moment! See Here or Here. -
Quick question - what battery is recommended for an E46 318i (auto, PFL, Touring if it matters). Did a quick search but nothing specific came up. The writing on the battery is all Japanese from what I can see.

Nice, looks tidy as. Liking the colour combo! Just one thing - I think you should lower the front a little more
-
Do you mean you're looking at re-drilling wheels AND adding spacers afterwards? Don't do that, it's a waste of money. If you're planning on adding spacers anyway, then use adaptors to convert the PCD. Just make sure you get good ones that comply with the law (hubcentric etc, what Andy said).

RS' and Sigma Lens SOLD

Haha well to be honest a touring is high on my list of priorities at the moment! Wanna sell it John?
-
Awesome! Looks tidy as. Keen for more pics of how it sits now.

Current reserve is $1050, but I'll take $950 for a quick sale if you're keen?
-
Nah sorry, 15". And I've only got two! I'll sell them for cheap though

Bump - make me an offer!
