I'm looking for any kind of accommodation in Waihi from the 26th Dec to the 28th Dec, (going to gigs at the Waihi Beach Hotel on those two nights). Ideal would be somewhere where we can turn up on the 26th and leave on the 29th. Does anyone have, or know of, a bach that will be available? Happy to pay obviously, can't find anywhere - I guess it's pretty late in the year all of a sudden! Will only be a small group, about 6 of us. Even keen on a lawn to pitch a tent, or, if nothing else, a driveway to park in and sleep in our cars would also be sweet. Cheers

Also Pm'd you. Keen on that lip

Pm'd re:steering wheel and dash mat

Oh really? Damn. Guess I'll order an m20 one! Cheers for that

All sorted, just went to the vodafone shop and picked a free one up no problem

Yeah I've already pulled all the wiring apart and the coolant temp wire (brown/violet) is connected up the whole way. This is backed up by the fact that when I earth it on the block the temp gauge reads hot.

Yeah it is, at least it was.. Like I say I measured the resistance of the sensor, and it went down considerably as the car warmed up. Does anyone know what the resistance should be of the sensor when the car is at running temperature?

I've just received my new Temperature sensor from Milland and my temperature gauge still doesn't work. I've earthed the plug to the chassis and the gauge reads hot. As far as I know this indicates that the gauge and all wiring in between is fully functional. If I measure the resistance of the sensor it decreases as the engine heats up, which indicates that the sensor is also functioning (I should hope so and it's brand new). However, the temperature gauge still doesn't move from cold. Is there anything I'm missing? All I can think of now is bad contacts between the plug and the sensor? Cheers for the help.

Really? Damn, they scammed me when I got my girlfriends iPhone then! I'm with vodafone, so I'll drop in this arvo I think. Yeah sweet, good idea. I'll go to Vodafone today and give it a go. Thanks guys

Hi guys, I bought my mates iphone 4s yesterday, and now I need a micro sim. I've seen you can buy cutters on trademe for under $10 but I'd prefer not wait for shipping. When I bought my girlfriends iPhone I just bought her a micro sim for $30 but it seems unnecessary if you can buy a cutter for $10! Does anyone know of a place on the north shore that would be open on a Sunday where I could get my existing sim cut? Or does anyone have one of these cutters? Cheers

Any idea if the boot carpet fits a sedan? Cheers

I highly doubt that they can be re-drilled, with the scalloped backs (as opposed to flat). Happy to be proven wrong though!

Selling the wheels? How much? Edit: also interested in some odd parts - RHS boot inner lining, floor mats, maybe some other things if I remember them.

Looking good man, some nice improvements since I saw it last. You getting any tyre rub with the 15s? I agree about sorting out the muffler mounting and shadow lining though!

No chance of selling those schnitzers?

Alright, all sorted now. Picked up an HP Probook 4730s, with an i7 2630QM and 8gb RAM, no SSD though. Seems ok and wasn't too dear. Thanks everyone for your input.

Thanks bro, sent you a txt, I'll give it a go!

I'm in the process of working out why my temp guage doesn't work, and this is next on the list in my process of elimination. Part number 12-62-1-747-281. Came in lots of different engines too, see here . Would prefer to try find a cheap one instead of buying a new one from Gavin at Euro Italian since I'm not even sure it's the problem! Anyone got one?

Wait, isn't there an extension: I hope so cause I took some pics yesterday, planning to send off soon/ when I have time. Josh can you confirm that there's an extension, before I go to the hassel of resizing on my extra slow laptop?

^ Or maybe the other way around (Southern Hemisphere!). Damn I'm not sure if I'll get any photos ready by tomorrow, I forgot about this!

Thanks for the advice guys, she's bought a 2001 NZ new corolla

Ok sweet thanks for that. The seller's being a real pain in the ass about arranging a pick up time, and has now (after me suggesting three or four pick up days in the next week and her just saying "I'm too busy") called me a time waster and relisted the auction! So I don't know if this will be happening any more. Just another reminder that trademe is full of timewasters who don't honour their auctions!

So so cheap and they look sick on your Golf!

Bit of an update, after borrowing an old HP that burns my lap every time I use it, I've picked up a cheap Toshiba off trademe, see here. Cheap enough to still leave some money for the e30! My only worry is the fact that the only inbuilt drive is the 64gb SSD, and the 640gb HDD is external. Now I'm wondering if any of you guys are handy enough with laptops to put the HDD in the place of the optical drive, like the seller explained here? I don't need an optical drive very often, can't remember last time I used mine on my old laptop. Maybe it could be put into some kind of case to use as an external drive with a usb cable? Anyway, let me know what if any of you can help out, not sure how big a job it is? Happy to reimburse you for your troubles.
