    Parking wardens

Paul - I got the same ticket about a month back (was it at Wilson parking?). I was parked in the Takapuna car park which offers 2 hours free parking, and then in fine print (which I didn't notice) it says "must obtain a ticket". Basically I didn't print out a free ticket from the machine and display the free ticket on my dashboard, so I got a $65 fine. I did some research into the matter because I thought this was ridiculous, and I found that although I did technically break the contract of parking in their carpark by not displaying said free ticket, they have no legal right to charge me this fee. See the following information from the consumer affairs website: I sent them a letter disputing this fine, and telling them that I am only liable for paying the expenses which they incurred due to my failure to display the ticket, which is $0 - especially considering it was approx 9pm and the carpark was empty. I haven't heard back yet, but I just made it clear in my letter that if I don't hear anything back I will assume they have understood my reasoning and have waved the fine. I'd say you should just print off that photo, and send it (along with your purchased ticket and a letter explaining what happened and why you won't be paying the fine) to the P.O. box on the back of the fine.

    Clear out

$10 for the E34 Leather handbrake handle assuming it's in good nick?
  3. 16x8 0p will fit fine with the right tyres and rolled guards, there's a few of us that have done it. As far as I know 16x9 15p will require a 5mm spacer up the front to clear the struts (I think John (e30ftw, above) had some on his e30?)
  4. Bit of an ambitious call haha
  5. Nice! I think that's a big improvement

  7. Haha nice. Back on topic - I can't help you but I like the idea of 3D printing replacement clips! Let us know how you go.

"Rutschig" would be used to say it like "Der Deutscher ist Rutschig" - "The German is slippery". But when you use the adjective before the noun then the adjective would take on the 'gender' of the noun (i.e. Deutscher is male), so it'd be "Rutschiger Deutscher". (Whilst German is technically my first language, bear in mind it's been 13 years since I lived in Germany, and the German I speak with my family these days is pretty relaxed, so I might not be 100% right! Maybe someone more sure can correct me if I'm wrong)

Slippery German - Although I'd say it should be "Rutschiger Deutscher" E:Oh and the car looks great, like always!
  11. Wow - i can't believe how many ugly wheels BMW has made! E: Interesting to note that the e30 basket weaves also come under the "style 5" title
  12. Awesome car - GLWS. I love how the airbag setup still leaves a decent amount of boot space free!

Is this the one I always see around Constellation bus station on the North Shore? Very cool car - I always wondered if it belongs to a member!

    confused!

My advice would be to flick off the 320i, and then go see Ray at HellBM about a manual conversion on your 325i. I don't see any logic in building a project around the fact that the 320i is currently manual - especially if the gearbox doesn't suit whatever motor you decide to put in!
  15. Another bump for another relist. Surely someone must be interested in a cheap e46 touring! http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=656063117&ed=true
  16. Have you got a full service history for it? Or just what you've recently done? Cheers
  17. M3 CSL on Fanshawe Street yesterday evening, plate BMW117 from memory. Is that a member on here? I want one!!
  18. I think they're all hiding in Ray's garage up at HellBM!
  19. I like that, because you can give it some rake for an aggressive stance while still maintaining similar wheel gaps. Personally I think if you're going to do anything further (in terms of lowering) at some stage you should get some coilovers. I love being able to fine tune the suspension height and shock stiffness to just the way I like it. Oh, and I think that improving the handling should still be a goal because it just makes driving it that much more fun! Edit: Just saw you've already said you're happy with it how it is so just enjoy it bro! Looks mint
