During a thread dig, Alias and Cliffdunedin mentioned a subaru upper engine cleaner, after googling this product also, decided to give it a go. Boy does it make a difference. It returns to idle smoother, the engine breathes easier and little vacuum leak symptoms dramatically lessened. The most noticeable thing was 1st gear, the car no longer jerks and stammer, just smoothly idles along, and the throttle response is alot better (without load). Made all this difference AFTER i cleaned my intake and throttle body thoroughly. Highly recommended !!

nice work and progress, is your rear brakes drum or disk? mite be worth considering changing to disks.

white e30 m3 on a trailer, hauled by a Range Rover. Also a blue e36 Ti, with colour coded wheel spokes, all in Grey Lynn
-
you can change the wheels like a jap car its just faster, thats all.
-
spend money on wheels, your m3 is really tidy as is. a wrap in that colour wouldnt match your stock wheels imo
-
you mean like that? someone on trademe was selling them before hand, 10 dollars each without nuts. 57mm in length. i was going to run them with 10mm spacer, but got new wheels instead. drove around for about a week, didnt loosen or anything like that. not really worth it unless you switch wheels very frequently. just use a plastic stick or the wheel stud alignment tool in your e30's tool box

Take glucosamine supplement. Great for joints and soft bone

Do sprints imo for toning, still need to do cardio to burn off excess energy
-
Thanks man! not a non-AB's supporter are you?

gym 4 - 5 times a week. cardio + wieghts. Trying to lose weight, but hard not to eat at night sometimes. @ kingkarl - meal replacements is something to consider, $30 for 18 serves of ~12g protein. Your anchor milk has around the same amount, but obviously cheaper. As Ari said, pimples and acne might be a problem. Soy/vege proteins is easier on the body compared to animal based products

unscrew and weld some spikes on

thanks for the reply guys! much appreciated. will give the intake a good clearout

it's always run rich, specs of oil gets sput out at the exhaust, but smoke's mostly white and "sooty" also read right hand turns (i.e the sweeper at HD) causes excess blow by, could be result of trackday? edit: the oiled TPS worries me the most
-
Been reading up on this on the internet, but would prefer some more opinions Recently, my TPS is acting up, and decided to clean the contacts, and discovered it was oily, then i took a look at my intake, and found it was deposited with oil as well. What causes this? is it a leaking seal or does engine oil grade affect this? Also, when i give it a good rev, a cloud of smoke comes out. Recently changed rocker cover gasket, water pump, spark plugs and new vacuum hoses. Coolant's clean, and idles well when the car's warm. TIA
