  1. http://www.jaycar.co.nz/productView.asp?ID...SUBCATID=1029#4 Lights not too bad, just a whitish backlight
  2. Going for that factory look. Sound quality's alot better than the sh*t old American Hifi one, and better functionality too. Well worth the $99, damn, even the old headunits Remote works on this
  3. where'd you end up going Matt?
  4. saw you in traffic as i got off the bus, stance's looking good. does your mate work at Mt Eden tyres? seen that car parked there a few times
  5. i'm sure i have seen this around central auckland before. Looks tidy!
  6. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=466880069 the guy wants 1.7k for it, replace gearbox yourself if you can? imo, its fairly priced for a mint 318i, especially in that colour.
  7. thanks for the share! a bit worrying how F1 R&D is in better shape than most NZ's R&D projects
  8. Chris at Centreline Suspension (aka Shock Shop). He's ~$80/hr for labour, and said would take whole day i.e 6-8 hrs for all the rear bushes. oh, you could look for 2nd hand bilsteins in bad or good condition, and get them rebuilded if needed.
  9. $3 and a bit of wood. Function > Form
  10. released on DVD now, should be at your local video store
  11. if you come intro central area, try Mt Eden tyres direct, next to midas mt eden. They charged 10 bucks a wheel balanced, might be 12 now dunno, inflation
  12. tell him to look up info on the 318is....plenty of them in USA compared to NZ
  13. Balmoral, three kings, sandringham, hillsborough and One tree hill are all pretty central locations with decent schools depending on the zone. Depending on your kids age, Cornwall Park Primary, Balmoral Primary/Secondary School, Auckland Normal Intermediate, and Mount Roskill Grammar, Mt Albert Grammar and Avondale College for when they grow up. You are looking at 700,000-900,000 for the above locations for a nice house with garage, but you might get a bargain if you look as with anything. Mount Wellington, Meadowbanks and St John are also good choices with a nice environment, good pricing for houses, but the schools aren't that flash. Other people will say different, but thats my 2c lol
  14. cheers man, your e28's looking Staunch, GLWS.
