Why cant he just write in or speak to a JOP in the Community Centers of his town for some advice. I was being serious, My friend was telling me the other day what to do if a cop calls you to court with small issues like this, its got something to do with a maori treaty or something in northland where if you represent yourself as part of this organization then you are above the court. How much was your wheel? I just mesured and both wheels are about the same size, only difference is the weight. The one from the 318Is is 3 spoke and lighter then the one from the 4 spoke one from the 328i. I guess I'll feel nicer with the 3 spoke then the 4.

I have a 4 spoke srs wheel on my 328i, ever since I got the car it felt not as comfortable or sharp as my 318is. So I finally decided to swap out the non airbag 3 spoke steering wheel from my 1992 318is into my 328is, I cant tell if its slightly smaller but had to ask, anybody here prefer the 3 spoke over the 4? does it handle better/feels better overall?

whats your vin? look it up on a vin decoder. I am sure the IS should have LSD. It was a factory option for all the 318IS cars, mine had it, all the ones I have seen had it, there are some 325iS's around that have it, S means teh sports packet includes the sports diff. anyway, I got a stock 318iS LSD if you like. $300 + your old open one. 220 will do okay, 260 is best if you have future plans. mine's a auto, with some mods, I am happy.

Thanks to Matt 's help we are nearly done, now ready to place an order this week. A set will have 3 pieces done in Black FDM and cost around $120 shipped to your door. (Having an Auckland company do it) Looking for atleast 3 or more intrested members who would like to have a set each then I can place the order.

for now, after the time and money you have spent on the 4 banger you have only come close to the performence of a m52b28 or m52b30. Your 318is has a LSD so that would be a lot of fun if you add a X brace and call it a day. Rather start with the 6 pot and have more options. I'm looking to fab up a cheap toyota sc14 blower for mine. save the money, drive and learn the car, sell the car, get a 328i preferably manual with under 200K. be happy
