  1. and what do you figure for a s50b32??
  2. Cold air box. aFe lied about bolt on!!
  3. Yeah saw that .. 244cc seems quite small for the power its making at the crank... I've always worked with rb Nissan engines and the rough rule of thumb is the cc/min = HP at the wheels. E.g. 440cc gtr injectors will support 400ish HP at the wheels. 244cc means maybe 200 to 220 at the wheels .... Which we've seen that disproven by many s50b32 dyno plots. Have seen 260+ at the wheels .. Standard s50b32.
  4. Hi all Just wondering what the stock fueling system in an e36 m3 evo will support? in stock form, from the factory they are rated at 321hp at the crank (236kw). size of stock injectors and stock fuel pressure numbers would help work out what it would be able to support .. can't seem to find definitive answers from a search Thanks heaps Kendrick
  5. I love cats but when they leave muddy paw marks on my bonnet it is super annoying. Granted I understand it is a cosy place to nap given its winter!!
  6. http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/49781-auckland-dyno-day-2nd-august-2014-mcr-automotive/ on the shore tomorrow .. dont have to dyno, but we might get a good showout of members just to watch !!

  8. welcome! any photos of the engine bay? specs on the engine build?
  9. theres a guy on RCIS facebook page who is fitting a NSX engine into the rear of an integra. Now that would be a honda i'd own. Also i would be partial to a eg civic hatch with a h22a and bseries gearbox .. sorry off topic. can be nice quick cars. but a completely different driving experience than european counterparts.
  10. Watched this recently and was surprised. Bear in mind that's a standard m4. Still. Wow. I was impressed!!
  11. Price would be good and more details

  17. haha! I am as anxious as you! so far, the springs and some discs have reached the port in LA .. will be getting on the next boat. Other than that, tracking the rest of the goods is a wait and see process. Orders are made and paid for, so just waiting for all the pieces of the puzzle to fall into place. If anyone has any questions then please feel free to pm me.
  18. will you be running a charge cooler?
  19. I can hack up an old filter and fit it?? If that would help?
  20. hi guys, installed an intake couple days back and its running fine .. however when I was pulling out the factory airbox, the airbox had some random hose plugged into the bottom of the box. was a dry hose, diameter 15-20mm. I am assuming it is the crank case ventilation hose ..? is it okay to leave it open, or is it time to mount a catch can somewhere?
  21. Not all engines grenade when they throw a timing belt. Only interference engines which the piston moves into the space where valves extend to. That's when you end up with broken valves and damaged pistons. Non interference engines will just stop running. You would have to realign all the timing and cams etc but no real different from just a normal timing belt replacement
  22. glad it's winter! I had some work colleagues bring this stuff back for me .. so it came in bits and pieces .. couldnt wait to hear that induction noise (which is awesome) so I chucked the intake in. I should get the box next week and I'll do the install properly. unfortunately, the system was designed to fit a non-HID headlight system, so it is a bit of a squeeze. When it's done properly, it will look like this: (except without the sensor controller thing for cruise control? or traction control?)
