  1. Lee's old m3? looks great lowered on the coilovers! the gurney flap works really well.
  2. Definitely keeping an eye on this! thanks for the link.
  3. Have you looked into the sellers listings hans? he sells the proper reiger front splitters too. Thanks Kelvin.
  4. I made it myself. There are DTM/Varis/Mateomotorsport etc versions i was really interested in but shipping from the states was a huge deal breaker .....
  5. Seller was "azo3104" on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/sch/azo3104/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from= He also sells the reiger adjustable splitter complete with hardware etc at the fraction of the cost compared to other US based sellers. I haven't bough it myself as i've made my own front splitter but the from the listing looks pretty decent? Yeah, i've thought about buying that version but i couldn't justify purchasing a low-rise ltw replica for $500+ $340 NZD, shipped to my door is a crazy good deal considering just a year ago the only replicas around were the ebay "extremedimension" crap and Abrahams/Marshaw selling for $600+ USD while genuine hanmann/gt2 were fetching 1.2K +. There was a full carbon version on ebay from taiwan, but it seems they don't make them anymore.
  6. Hellll yessss. That CAE shifter is too good.
  7. Wouldn't bother with Abraham/Marshaw, unless you specifically want the abraham/marshaw. There are a lot of versions of the wing out there now. I got mine off ebay through a Polish seller. There is a couple sellers out there now from Poland/Bulgaria, seems to be from the same manufacture. Complete 4pcs fiberglass version (really light, solid construction) shipped to my door for $340 a couple months back. No sag, and the base tapers down like the original LTW/GT wings. Build quality/fitment was better than expected considering the price, but like all fiberglass parts the surface needs to be flat sanded and re-primed.
  8. Thanks Paul! Small update. Here are some more pics from various stages of fitment and pics of the rear diffuser. Still not 100% happy with the rear diffuser design so i'm going to make it again in carbon aswell. Version 2: Learning from the first one, i decided to make another from splitter from carbon fiber instead of fiberglass and i'll make it 50mm longer than the previous one. Btw: if anyone wants the fiberglass front splitter/undertray, it's for sale. All mounts/hardware etc included. PM me.
  9. Looks sooooo good. Love the colour too!
  10. Saw you out west on my way back from Piha, car looked eye candy Jayden
  11. Cheers, it was worth the effort! Thanks, will definately look into that for the next splitter. I'll be making one for my brothers e36 track hack so will definitely be aiming for 100% functionality including full underbody panels, rear diffuser etc. Learned a lot from this project, and beats paying $140 for the M3 plastic lip. It was extremely time consuming though, thought i could finish it in a couple hours but ended up taking 3 days, total hours was about 10-12 hours but i have all the templates/mounts drawn up so next one will hopefully take less time.
  12. Mint build. Following!

    MissBM V.2

Yeah, +1 for OEM. Others look tacky
  14. Small update. Finished my exams and finally had the hours to put in. Ended up going with the full front end under tray/splitter so its best of both worlds. 7mm CD bunnings plywood w/ 3msq 200g weaved fibreglass with approx 500ml marine grade epoxy resin applied. All hardware is 316 SS and supporting mounts all bolt up to the chassis so it is very sturdy, will easily hold my weight (79KG). Total weight without the bumper is approx 7-8KG and total cost to build this was around 200 .... ish. Could have been a lot cheaper if i went with zinc/galvanized hardware. Made a couple mistakes, first being the front being not long enough, which was my mistake. Measure twice, cut once! Just need to complete the rear diffuser, will add more progress pics of that later.

    E36 M3ish

I saw Dion's e36 on Sunday, can confirm it is mint. Can't imagine the hours put into it ....
  18. There is a couple sellers on ebay selling them now, not the 'duraflex' ones. You can get the 4pc fiberglass versions for $400-500 NZD shipped to your door, if your not in a hurry i'll let you know if there is any sagging/fitment issues when i receive mine, should arrive in the next week or two.
  19. Wanting to buy E36 Msport front bumper trims (complete front end/bumper), clip on mesh and possibly the M3 lip.
  20. I've tried laminating carbon before on a project, and it's really not worth the time/effort unless you have the proper equipment (vaccum bagging etc). Sourcing the carbon sheet in the dimensions i need in NZ would cost me quite a lot considering the raw twill (2x2, 200gsm) itself costs $50~60 for a square meter minus the epoxy/labor etc. I just don't have that kind of budget ... Will check various alibaba/chinese sources because i'm a cheap b@stard
