Awesome. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely doing my research but as you'd know there's a hectic amount of info online for the 24 valve swap. Half of it unfortunately contradicts the other. I couldn't find anything in your build talking about modifying the rear exhaust manifold to clear steering column. Or did the barina parts negate this? Huge relief if it does.

Cheers for that Nick. I had another perve at your build to see how you modified your selector/carrier rod but looks like you went a different route. I think I might shorten my 240 ones. Bought a exedy m20 clutch kit today, just need to have the 6mm shaved from the block side of the flywheel. Exedy wouldn't do it. Did you use the M5x pilot bearing?

Collecting the final piece of the puzzle for my E30 M52 swap. I'm using a Getrag 240 from a M40 engine. Have the single mass flywheel for an M20 and exedy clutch for the M20. Ive heard mixed opinions on what release bearing/throw out bearing to use. Some say the one for the M20 is fine, others say use the "Euro 323i" one as it is taller. Any help is appreciated.

Close, but not quite. By the looks of the tracking it only had 1-2 days at customs max.

Package finally turned up. Bit of drama initially with Pelican. Long story short, security steps that are required with payment added a week and a half onto the delay. Another delay for stock to arrive from their suppliers (paint repair kit + thermostat). Order placed 07Dec16 arrived 06Jan16. Wasn't in too much of a rush, so not bothered. Thanks again for your help and saving me from some costly mistakes!

While I'm patiently waiting on parts to arrive from Pelican Parts I thought I'd tidy up my M52B28 some more before putting it in my E30. I would like to delete as much extra componentry as possible. I have already removed PS pump and AC pump etc. What'd you guys do to the things like purge valve & CCV? Also, any handy tips for stripping down an auto loom to manual? I'm basically left with 4 wires right now that go from trans dme to eng dme that I need to figure out what they're for (tomorrow's job). Thanks in advance for any help! This forum has prevented many headaches!

Currently part way through prepping an M52 to go into my E30. I need bulk misc parts to get everything mint. For example metal impeller waterpump, valve cover gasket, sump gasket, thermostat, metal thermostat housing, spark plugs, oil filter, valve cover rubber mount and random gaskets. Also had tacked on E30 trunk seal, rear emblem and grommets. I was look at "partsgeek.com" & "autohausaz.com" and the shopping cart came to be pretty cheap (~$250USD). But shipping ends up being $200USD, making it not worth while. What would be the rough price if I were to source these items in NZ? Is there a website you guys like to use? Thanks in advance, any help is greatly appreciated.

@M3AN unsure of what you're comment was achieving. I've seen a couple posts on the ECC Facebook page with them fitted to a couple e46's.
