Looks cool mate, saw it in person last week parked in the same place outside your house I was staying across the road
-
Haha yea they are pretty stretched but I compensate a little with buying higher rated tyres that have a stiffer sidewall Is it back on the road yet? To be honest swordfish. You could get these rims to fit.. but you would have to run the skinniest tyre ever. You could never run any practical tyre sizes. Nice wheels never the less
-
P.S Have you used this to measure? http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp

That is the rear and it is mighty tight 3 inches is a lot of paint mate..Send me a PM of the wheel details

I have 9.5 ET20 on mine no problemo. With a 225/35 What wheels are we talking about?

And mine This 'Web Certificate' entitles you to $5 off of any purchase of $25 or more from our on-line catalog. Just make sure that you use it within the next four weeks (it'll expire after that). How do I use this WebCertificate? Simple! All you need to do is enter this number: 1330154564-224-724 into the online checkout screen when you are ready to complete your purchase. The spot where you need to enter the number is located right above the space where you normally enter your credit card number. The discount will automatically be deducted from your total. It's our way of saying thanks to our loyal, repeat customers. You have to act in the semi-near future, though. The WebCertificate is only good until Monday, May 7, 2012 at 11:00:01 PM.

Wonder where the pilot controls are?

I haven't found any places in the GC that sell cheap BMW parts. I get my parts from the states, seeing as our exchange rate is good. Postage isn't bad either unless your buying big/heavy parts. Where in the GC are you?

Bit of a thread dig.. In late December driving back from Brisbane I broke the little diff mounting point on the subframe. After trying to source a decent subframe (not new as they are $1600) Ray from Hellbm had an old rusty one for $100. Had that shipped over, it was in pretty poor condition as you can see Never the less, after a few hours with the dewalt and handbrush it came out like this Hit it with some rust killer, will give it another coat tomorrow. Then metal etch, prime and paint Also ordered all this to be put on eventually - New subframe bushes F/R - New coolant level sensor - New radiator hoses top/bottom - New drive belt - New aircon belt - New filter - New power steering pulley (old one is bent which wrecked my belt) - New idler pulley - New tensioner pulley - Repaired the aircon unit with a 20c resistor. Have a great write up for this - New oil to a 10w 60 - Aircon regased - Coolant flush Next to be done is fix my in passenger panel on my door as the heat has baked it off Hope to drive it next week just before I got to NZ, but ill most likely run out of time

There is a white 535is with 240k for 8k www.carsales.com.au is a good site

E30's are a joke to find The most decent e30 I have found is $4500 and has 250,000 ks on it. 320i Manual coupe of course, but is in mint condition BMW's in general are highly priced, but you get that seeing as Holden and Ford had/have there own plants here. You can buy brand new Commodores for 30k

Remember when lowering the wheel actually sits more inward to the guard at the top. Best to lower it and then look at where you are at?
-
To answer your question directly Yes you can use two schemes. But you will pay through the roof for importing 2 or more cars
-
What I know is, the cheapest way to import a car Is under a personal licence. When you want to start to import multiple cars you will have to pay for a seperate importing licence as it is not deemed personal anymore. If that helps?
-
Finally NZ follows. When I come back to NZ next week I wont have any trouble driving on the roads!

Have a close up of the drivers seat?
