Plant some lawn so they have something for you to tell them to get off of.

Depends if you're talking CSL or not. I'd take a CSL over a GT2. I'd take a GT3 over either.

There's a great buyer's guide in the "Want to buy" section of the forums. That's a good place to start, then come back with any questions you have left. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=20995

1M hanging with a track prepped CSL on the 'ring
kinetik replied to kinetik's topic in Videos & Sound
The CSL time is with Pilot Sport Cups, which are R compound semislicks. It'd be interesting to see 1M times with similar tires. The original thread for the video contains lots of arguing about the times of both cars: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=566503 -
Great move. I'd also like to see the adult BAC limit reduced from 0.8 to 0.5.

I put a set of these on a few months ago. Very happy with them so far.

Poor Aussies (and us, I'd assume) have to pay over twice what it's worth in the UK? Madness.

Saw the 1M demo car heading west on Mt Albert Rd around 8pm.

Is that one of the new factory option special editions?
-
How many "special" edition E9x M3s does the world need? This is getting almost as silly as Porsche.

You can get them premade from here (and probably other places): http://advancarbon.com/#/item/1999-2006_bm...bon_fiber_hood/

Renault Mégane RS Trophy sets FWD Nürburgring record
kinetik posted a topic in Other European Cars
The new Mégane RS Trophy has set a lap record around the Nürburgring at 8:07.9, ten seconds faster than the outgoing Mégane R26.R, two seconds off the E92 M3, and eight seconds faster than the new E82 1M. Pretty impressive for a 265HP FWD car on road tyres. Video: -
It's CGI. The walls were added later using match moving.
-
340 rwhp is pretty optimistic. I assume you're getting that from Inside Line's dyno? They rate the E9x M3 at almost 380 rwhp where other dynos report 330-350 rwhp.

4km/h tolerance extended to all public holidays

Good luck with that. -
You might have to get the press involved before the police care: http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article....jectid=10672740

135i - 3373lb1M - 3362lb Edit: Ah, the BMW NZ website (the disaster it is), lists the 1M at 1495kg and the 135i at 1455kg. Edit 2: And the BMW International site lists the 1M at 1570kg and the 135i at 1530kg. I'm more inclined to believe this than any of the stats sheets.
