500hp at the wheels or crank? I think 500 crank hp is realistic on 20psi.

E30 Brake Booster/Master Cylinder Replacement
polley replied to APT's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
I am using E32 double diaphram booster and e32 master cylinder. My pedal is quite stiff, but it dosent need as much movement for the same braking pressure obviously. I also use a wilwood adjustable biasing valve for the rear, with the new master cylinder it would brake too heavily in the rear and occasionally lock up. It will easily lock the front wheels, and i've never felt that I need to "stand" on the brakes to make it stop. -
Or just a bit of broken porcelain from a spark plug will do it... Smash a spark plug and get a small piece of the porcelain and throw it at the window, will go right through it.

Software is free to download off haltech site. turbo m50. fuel and ignition.. I was going to cut the loom and include the ecu plug and leave about 10"+ of wire so the buyer could wire it in to whatever. but i could include the entire loom if you wanted to use it on a m50...

I havent run it on the dyno, I have decided to install the DTA and then dyno tune it, instead of paying for dyno time twice.
-
Nope, still running the car fine.

Haltech E6K for sale has coolant and air temp sensors, no map sensor but can get one off trademe for $100~ or cheaper elsewhere. Will run 4 cylinder sequential, 6 cylinder waste spark. Has run my m50 well, but am upgrading to a DTA system. comes with 6 channel nissan igniter. $300

It's not crashed. There are just so many requests coming in at once it cannot service them all. It can still log, so can firewalls.

non vanos head from a m50b25. no cam shafts or valve cover, has cam trays and lifters, unsure of lifter condition. moving house and need to clear out the garage. would make a good head for someone who has a cracked head (swap over your cams etc) $400

It will work, but its not optimal. The drain will most likely be under oil under a lot of conditions, especially left hand turns. Thats why I suggested the timing cover, it is well above the oil level and you can still keep it nice and straight. My drain is no way straight I had to compromise because of the turbo manifold, but I made the drain oversize to make sure oil would not back up and I have no issues with the turbo leaking oil.

You don't. But there were still a few people arrested who did it, obviously you cant arrest everyone. Tell me where I said everyone got caught.
-
Yeah, just stupid little script kiddies running loic on sites. A bunch of people got caught last time they did that ...

nz government bending over to the USA again.
-
why not run the return to the timing cover? well above oil level there.

unplug right hand side bulbs and check with multimeter that there are no shorts in the indicator wiring? if the flasher unit was shorted out it might buzz.

Tach output from the motronic is pin 9 at c101, black wire. Not sure what wire that is at the motronic but not hard to test between the motronic plug and c101 to see which it is. M20's use a switch type TPS, which is prob no good for your map ecu. You would want a tps from an m30 or m20 that had the auto trans with sport mode etc, these TPS's had the old switch type and newer variable types in one unit, which will keep the motronic and map ecu happy, they have a circle plug with 6 pins iirc. could be wrong, but im sure someone will correct me if i am. i think crunchy uses these mapecu's so he is prob the one to ask.

This is the same experiance I've had when installing after market stereos in a few BMW's aswell. They have a antenna amplifier that is powered by the stereo, reception is crap / non existent if you do not wire it properly.

new cars look horrendous.

its a great idea, as long as you do it properly.

I have a diff from a 96 323i auto. I just checked on the internet and it *should* be a 3.91. It is in tauranga, will get dad to check and make sure it is a 3.91 if you are interested.
