It is amazing what can be straightened and fixed up.

You can get proper load testers, it puts a load on the battery and then you measure how long it takes to drop below a certain voltage. Take it to an auto sparky, alot of the time they will do a load test for free.

The chrome cleans up good enough, just didnt have a rag to wipe the dust off. It probally just needs mounting over a bit further, I can push it away from the body by hand easy enough.

Set of modified m52 manifolds to fit e30 m50 conversion with modified twin pipe remus muffler to fit e30. The muffler was either off a e36. It is dual pipe all the way from the manifolds to the muffler with a twin entry / exit catalytic converter from an e34. The muffler rubs on the side of the body a bit, I think the pipes must of warped a bit went it heated up and moved around or something. It is leaking somewhere, but im pretty sure it's just a blown gasket between the manifolds and exhaust flanges as it didnt always leak until recently. http://www.remususa.com/epages/remus.sf/en...ucts/0870910506 Ill get some pics of it on the car / out of the car later on. $300. In hamilton.

You just need to sit the engine in there where you want it and then you can take measurements and make templates to make your own mounts. Once its sitting in there you can measure how much shorter / long the drive shaft needs to be and take it to a driveshaft shop and you can get them to shorten / lengthen it and put the nissan flange on it. You need to find wiring diagrams of your e30, and the car that your new engine came from, you can then play connect the dots with the wires. Here are some E30 wiring diagrams: http://www.armchair.mb.ca/~dave/BMW/e30/ Not many people have done this swap, so you are pretty much on your own to figure it out.

http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....eef4cf7f375f305 Am I doing it right? -
You're gonna have to make up some engine and gearbox mounts. Or possibly you can find a place to purchase them.

Le me tell yu what happend at my place yesterday. It was a sunny day. I hear 2 or 3 helicopters coming. I assume its news helicopters. Qnd then thats when i remembered news copters dont travel together. I look out the window and i see 3 military helicopters landing in a field. I wanted to see what was going on. So i walked out the door. Dropped to the floor. Everybody walk the dinosaur.

There is a glitch in the intertubes. -
There is a rubber boot that sits in the firewall where the clutch master cylinder goes thru. It seals the master cylinder to the firewall so dust / water cant get in to the cabin. I dont need the master cylinder.
-
Still got it? Im after the rubber seal / boot that goes between the body and clutch master cylinder.
