I had to use a telecom xt data usb data stick going from hamilton to tauranga. I thought I would have decent reception until I got to the kaimais where I expected it to drop signal, however signal was weak for most the trip with frequent signal drop outs, which made it a pain in the ass as I had to download multiple files on the way.

Yeah cable is too short and the mounting bracket for the cable to go onto the gearbox wont fit because the bolt holes are rotated 90 degrees. Im using a camaro cable I modified to work, but it is a piece of sh*t. I would be interested in what you have to make it work. Cheers.

A few other things that are different, shift selector mechanism is on opposite sides, also e30 is linkage type and e32 is cable type. I think the cable is going to be too short to go on the other side of the box as well.

A swedish dude who builds turbo BMW's has said he revs standard nv heads to 8k without issue. Tho I have seen a vanos head float exhaust valves into pistons around 8krpm~ The NV heads do have thicker valve stems which makes them heavier, and flow a little less. Tho I am not sure how much difference it is, I think it would be very little.

A m50b25nv head will rev to 7000rpm easily.

That error means your image is too big. Just upload it to tinypic.com and tell it resize to 800x600.

Damn I don't even put up with literate users for free.

Lol is this the dude who pretended to be someone else and bought a car on trademe that someone else had actually won?

Meh, had this a month or so ago. Told them I didnt own a computer and to f**k off. I then hung up.

I just sprayed it with 'start ya bastard' and let that soak in and soften it up then water blasted it off easy as. Any solvent should soften it up tho. Either take the bonnet off or cover your car / engine bay with a tarp cause the sh*t goes everywhere.

I would use an alloy block, much lighter.

Yeah I had an m20 + auto out in under an hour with a hoist, its relatively easy tbh and hoists are cheap to rent.
-
What rotors and calipers would it be using?
-
If you dont have the room to use a grinder, gas, or die grinder, put some extra bolts in the gearbox and remove the whole engine with the gearbox. It's not that much work.

You let her get away? You have no chance of getting her to repair your wheel now. You should of put her in a rear naked choke hold until she paid up.

Chain email etc, been going round for years.

Would of been the rev limiter.

What does one have to do to make a e38 sound like a proper v8

Disconnect the exhaust at the manifolds. -
Glenn, is that figure KG of air per minute or hour or what? Just interested.

Removed head, cams, cam trays and dropped the head off at the machine shop this morning.
-
It is different because he is using an m50 with an m20 gearbox.
-
Or you could just use the small m20 starter.
