Seen that in Papakura, some Iraqi guy drives it. It looks so rude with those big 'gills' on the side. Different Strokes for different folks.....

Pimpin. You get ACS strut brace aswel?
-
Dude, check ebay etc. A guy has some on here for like 1K. Look at the thread I started in suspension/brakes. Im going to be getting the Ground Control kit which does front and rear. Could possibly sort out a group buy if you want to wait 2-3 months.

I know no one on here apart from Josh has aftermarket coilovers installed in their E30. I want to know what is a decent brand that will offer me at least 2-4 inches of adjustment front and 1-3 rear. Looking at a few kits: http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html/detai...DUCT_ID=29577-1 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KW-COILOVER...sspagenameZWD1V http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/prod/gc2020-01 Basically I want some thing that at least has complete front unit ready made. Josh, you are running G/C's aye? am I right in saying you had to get the springs perches welded onto the original strut? From what I can tell the H&R set is the best and I can get it from my dealer without having to pay shipping etc but it is the most expensive. The KW's I have never heard of but the 'V3' version of the KW's has been reccomended on a few overseas forums. Please help Edit: also looking at these threads: http://e30m3performance.com/installs/GC_susp/GC_susp3.htm http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread...h%26r+coilovers http://www.livermoreperformance.com/bmw_coil_over.html After alot of looking around and window shopping various sites i have come to the desicion that this looks like the best deal: http://www.ground-control-store.com/produc...tion.php/II=686

Anyone go yesterday? I was watching from the bottom of ANZ tower on Albert St (where I work) Got some shitty cell-pics which ill post tonight. Anyone else got any? Wasnt to impressed though, mostly saggers and surfboards although there were a few decent perks

Ask Ray, yes you do get good gains. Around 20-25hp if i remember correctly. I was going to do this when I was thinking about N/A M52 in the dirty. Turb'd M50 sounds better though
-
Yes, Phantom, RR have just released a drop top version to So Trippy how when you turn it off the little silver statue on the top of the grille dissapears down a little hole and then gets covered over by a chrome flap. So P.I.M.P
-
Why 2 doors? Rust?
-
3rd'd Edit: nice car BTW Always wanted a drop top merc for cruising in the summer
-
Wouldnt an S50 have been better in the long run? Being 24 valve and all. More possibilities of yeilding more HP? You are not going turbo evah though are you? So I guess M20 will suffice thinking that way.
-
Yea thats kind of why I was wondering when someone was going to get em!! Did you buy them off ebay or buy them already imported? I see some one has got some on Trademe
-
I wouldnt reccomend it if you are not a pro. Shed jobs = crap

Graham, I understand where you are coming from but I personally notice a hell of alot of difference going from my x9's to bottlecaps. I find it VERY hard to break traction with the x9's and its piss easy with the bottles. think anything bigger than x9's (unless running slicks on a drag car etc) would detract from handling let alone give less grip. Personally x8.5 or x9 is the best for E30. Alternatively anything with at least 205/40 tyres FTW
-
Awesome. They are heaps of fun aye. Fully optioned out for their day to!! I loved the fact it could do burnouts without even having to touch the accelerator! Manual choke yo!! Pull that baby out and dump the clutch, instant skids
-
Are you planning on doing any future modding in terms of serious power? If you are id go 8.5 at least... Im running x9's and they are pretty sticky with the m20 but when it gets the m50 t conversion they will get a run for their money!

E34 or e36, ZF 5 speed is manual from any M50. Bearing in mind you may need E34 oil tray pickup etc. Was the M50 form an E34?
