Id only bother if it was a cosworth. This is a bit biast but (Having driven one) I think they are more of a hairdresser car. i.e they dont 'feel' good on the road, harsh cornering etc. Also hard to find manual etc. The prices of merc these days, id go for a c200 or c220, unless you can find a mint 190e Cheers Chris

Gus, Those conversions, as you know would be hella expensive. What im trying to say is, that for the price he paid for sticking that Commy motor in he could have had an M30 up in there. Id rather have an m52/54 as you well know, but in perspective, that swap could have been done better as an M30 for same/similar price. It would have also been a BM motor instead of a Holden motor Get me??

The European Commission have just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the EU, rather than German, which was the other possibility. As part of the negotiations, under due influence by the large auto company BMW, Her Majesty's Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5 year phase in plan that would be known as "EuroEnglish": In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly, this will make the sivil sevants jump with joy. The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of the "k". This should klear up konfusion and keyboards kan have one less letter. There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year, when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced with the "f". This will make words like "fotograf" 20% shorter. In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible. Governments will enkorage the removal of double letters, which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling. Also, al will agre that the horible mes of the silent "e"s and "ea"s in the language is digraseful, and they should go away. By the 4th yer, peopl wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" with "z" and "w" with "v". During ze fifz yer, ze unesasary "o" kan be dropd from vords kontaining "ou" and similar changes vud of kors be aplid to ozer kombinations of leters. After zis fifz yer, ve vil hav a reli sensibl riten styl. Zer vil be no mor trubls or difikultis and evrivun vil find it ezi tu understand ech ozer. ZE DREM VIL FINALI KUM TRU! BMW VIL RULE ZE VORLD!

Does your standard wheel not have an airbag?? If it doesnt, just flick the emblem/horn cover out with a screwdriver, turn the wheel full lock to the left stick a wheel brace or similar on the large nylock nut hold the steering wheel to the steering column, unscrew the nut (Counter Clockwise) once the nut is off and the horn has been unplugged just pull the thing off. May take a bit of brute strength but i am sure you can handle that. PS: watch your nose/chin/eyes when pulling the wheel off, they sometimes tend to come off all of a sudden and if you are not prepared you will whack yourself in the face!! Edit: If you have an airbag, or are not sure whether it has one or not use this: http://home.earthlink.net/~frankie66/cars/...eringwheel.html Cheers Chris
