    rat rod bmw

    The write up: http://www.stanceworks.com/2013/05/mike-bu...od-bmw-model-a/
  2. The coilovers work out to just over $600NZD delivered... Can't seem to find any reviews on it though?? Or am I just not looking properly? Could be good value though with the 80/80 adjustment. Not too keen on the Schnitzers myself. But when you have the luxury of many sets...

Not into extreme camber and stretch either but a lil can't hurt right! I'd assume it is the two piece set up, although good question, neverreally confirmed it. And yeah might roll aroundtweaking it for a few days before I cert it! Better to be sure! Sounds like you had a fine or two haha?? Hahaha the E46 couldn't win over an E36 fan ae?? Yup only heard good things about the BC's! Had a mate spend a grand on JOM's for his e46 with average results. Rather pay the extra $500 for the quality and comfort. On another note, anyone wanna split shipping on ZHP knobs?? Takes a bit of an edge of the price!

Agree wholeheartedly with both of you. I have decided for the BC Golds (unless anyone has a better suggestion,XYZ?), and will prob have them soonish. Coils + Cert= $2000!!!

Definitely worth doing at that price! Also ordered me some alcantara gaiters of ebay. Couldn't pull the trigger on the ZHP knob though $120USD.

I think I'll chip away at the guards etc and fit them in time for summer haha! Agreed on the RS's. Current set sit much better! What shocks did you end up with out of curiosity? Just placed an order on Schmiedmann for both the rear window seals as well as the upper and lower rear windscreen mouldings! $120NZD all up, can't complain.
  9. As said before, looking real good! Any power figures?

Makes us even cause I wanted to drive away in your cabby! Saw it on the ground today with the new? wheels. Looked good. Lucky the wheels are back with me! Will be low, but definitely not as low as Will had them haha.
  13. I was hoping you would voice up before I spend more money on things I don't need!
  14. Very nice Tristan. Really love the colour.

    Style 32 Wheels

Set of four, all 17x8. Two are ET47 I was running at the front, with 20mm spacers. And two are ET22 that I was using on the rear. The rear wheels show more dish so it does look staggered And yes the wheels are two diff colours. The diagonal pairs match. Dont ask why... Powdercoating is only $25 a wheel anyway so you can pick your own colour and sort it for $100! After $600 for the set and could include spacers for a bit more. Pic of wheels: And on the car:

Got the staggered set of 32s on. Sorry for crappy pics. Was getting them in between the rainy spells. Went with a charcoal metallic powdercoat. Won't be everyones cuppa but it's growing on me plus I won't be sulking when it's dirty! Needs a bit of a drop for sure. Also put the Breytons up against the car. I'm sure I can make them work with a little bit of effort.

Thank you Sir! Hopefully have the second set of style 32s on tomorrow. Will be test fitting the Breytons too. See how much work I will be in for. Then it will be time to sort out my suspension. Don't know if I can justify them BC Golds...
