It means I have the Factory build sheet from BMW, which reads all the MSport parts were fitted at the factory and has black alcantara hoodlining unlike most copies which are grey..

Yep, definitely next on the list, they are carbon fibre but are starting to look a bit faded!

No american muscle in our garage but there is this... 1987 Ford Falcon, was a 3.3 6 cylinder manual.. now its a 416 cubic inch Stroker cleveland, C4, high stall, AU XR8 diff, mallory hyfire ignition, the list goes on..

when you get a few cars pulled up with noisy exhausts on with you warrant on and get 3 months suspension, then you'd know why a little bit of caution is taken by wof inspectors.

as a wof inspector, i just got the new updates for the virm requirements for this particular topic! the law is now anything louder than standard is a fail, however i think the law is a bit stupid as my cars exhaust isnt standard and I aint changing it, i think it will really be up to the inspector whether or not you get a knob.. just to clear the rules up, I have the latest leaflet from ltnz if anyone needs more info.

I have the BMW factory rds radio and need to find out the radio code so I can listen to It.. does anyone know if the dealers can supply codes without knowing the details of the car it originally came from? I just bought it off Trademe after removing my Alpine Ipod headunit to use in another car.

I like the white as its a bit different to most other E36s, Ive only owned Red BMWs before! It now ha some decent wheels on it aswel after the BBS rims went missing..

I now have this car and I love it.

Looks great, similair look to mine, just one suggestion, get M3 sideskirts to finish it off.

At the end of the day, if you have HID lights in factory projector light clusters they aren't usually going to dazzle other drivers unless they are adjusted incorrectly, my ones are in Projector clusters with leveling motors and I've never had a problem and they light up the road SO much better than standard ones.

Why is it dangerous? they've been in my car for about 3 years with no probs..

I've got H.I.Ds in my E36 and they're amazing at night the completely light up the road and look good at the same time.
