The clip on is actually a genuine BMW lip, and i think it looks better with it than without, a "real" M kit is a bit too expensive for me to justify putting on a 525i.
-
$35+ gst genuine new. email me if you're interested [email protected]
-
to be honest the ride has suffered a little.. but it looks much better!
-
and some clear indicators and a m rear lip spoiler.

I finally got round to putting some 19s on my car, Beyren Mesh 19x8 all round, with Pirelli Pzero Nero 245/35/19s Next I want tints and to paint round the windows black.
-
No it doesn't have bulletproof glass, they're all the same spec.
-
BMW use 5w30 Castrol softec, but if you want an off the shelf product you can use Castrol Edge 5w30 sport from Repco, supercheap etc which will be fine.

-
haha shame the scania turbo part is crap, theres no way a small diesel engine will spin a turbo that big to actually make boost...
-
mmm i want this car!!
-
not gonna get too carried away with it as its probably going to end up being the wifes car, but i want to put leather trim in it, MF steering wheel with cruise etc, probably E39 M5 rep wheels, tints, new speakers, just mainly cosmetic stuff really.
-
cheers guys, its a 98 525i, Pre facelift but has the facelift lights front and rear. I'm pretty sure the wheels are just the standard 540 wheels. will post up some pics on the weekend when i give it a wash, been through lots of roadworks since the weekend so its looking a bit grubby.
-
Im after a crank position sensor for a 98 E39 525i, chassis WBADD42000BV09176 needs to be as cheap as poss.
-
Sadly not, its just a 525i, but should be a good daily driver. V8 would've been nice

so brent, do you know what else needs to be done for this conversion? cheers. -
does anyone know, if a car has a standard steering wheel, and you fit a wheel with radio controls is the wiring already there or does this need to be wired?

its probably a little bit sacrilege to say here, but bang for buck i'd go for the S15 Silvia R, super reliable, cheap and easy to maintain yourself, loads of fun to drive and parts are cheap. just watch out for dodgy nissan ignition coils
