Up for grabs, had alot of interest when I had it on the car so does anyone want to buy it? Plate base in red to match tail lamps, looks good on a dark car. Make a realistic offer.
-
Its the CD ONLY ones im talking about IE early E65 etc.. pretty unfortunate as I have a massive demand for these maps from customers. All the new 2011 on maps will be a BMW AG part as opposed to a BMW NZ disc.
-
Just so you know, BMW is no longer going to release map updates on the CD format Nav systems. they will upgrade DVD and CIC units only, so you are basically stuck with 2009 maps forever unless someone else makes something up.

I reckon its badass, and all the M models are awesome fun to drive and drive like M cars.. Most people on here who comment on them havent driven them.

I've just aquired a 2005 330i so i need to sell the E39, 2001 model, 1st registered in 2000, 525i, M54 engine . original 5 speed MANUAL, only done 107,000kms In steel blue with light grey leather, full electric comfort seats with memory, BMW professional audio with CD stacker All the usual 5 series extras such as climate control, airbags, etc Multifunction steering wheel with cruise Electric roller blind in the rear PDC Aluminium interior trims Factory Motorsport suspension Original BMW 17" sport alloys with good tyres Needs a few dents and scratches fixed up to be a minter but i brought it as a trade in an never got around to fixing it all up. Just had a full Inspection I service, oil and filter microfilter air filter brake fluid and coolant Very good economy for a 5er doing 9.5l/100km round town driving Performs very well for a 525 being a manual. Photos to come, wanting around $9,000

That red one belongs to a salesman at work, it is ABSOLUTELY mint! you wouldnt believe it was the age it was its like going back to 1990 when you see it! It owes him a fortune, Id love to buy it so bad. looks badass with two of these side by side and a red E30 M3 in the showroom

Because a Fraser is useless in the wet, and can only carry two people with no extra gear which is useless when heading off to the twisty roads on the way to the beach for the weekend.
-
Oh dear.. I think you've slightly missed the point of this car. The people who will buy the 14 coming to NZ will most likely park them in the garage until the weekend and then go to such places as Hampton Downs for track days etc i would say. one customer of mine has ordered one and he does exactly that with his M3.

Anyone who has driven an X5M or X6M will tell you theres no problem what so ever with throttle response. In my opinion they are just as fast to respond as an E60 M5, not necessarily as instant but not far off. Everything happens pretty quickly. in a 5 series it will be even better. The new M5 had to meet Euro 5/6 regulations, theres no way that was going to happen in an NA car without it costing massive amounts of money to produce. look at a Lambo or Ferrari, they put out as much co2 per km as 3 120d's. but each to their own
-
all round town driving im getting 10.5l/100km i got around 700km from the last tank. the e30 i would get 400ish, granted the tank wasnt as big but it was still about 55-60 litres and that was only a 320. what kind of mileage are you getting?
-
if your car is an e39 530, i HIGHLY doubt a supercharged M20 will use less fuel. they arent economical in standard form so supercharged will only make things worse. my manual e39 uses far less fuel than my E30 did.
-
E39 540i Tourings have an awful ride the rear suspension is far too hard unless towing or you have a full load in the boot.

For sale Beyern Mesh. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=377303695 need a good skim up to look the part. bought them, trial fitted, then took off. selling cheap to fund new wheels As Is.

I've driven these numerous times now and they are just awesome.. the multimedia system is just amazing with iphone, control the stereo etc from your phone or vice versa.. They go great and tow a 2.5 ton boat no probs at all over to Whitianga and that was a 20d version. Cant wait to see how they go on the Alpine xDrive!

Anyone after a cheap NZ New manual wagon? Goes great took it to the beach over the long weekend and was pretty impressed with the performance and economy. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=372943397

So far the E90 320d seems to be a pretty reliable choice in the most part, We're now seeing ones well into the hundred thousand kms mark and seem to be holding up alright. Its more the electrics on the car than the engines that can give trouble, that said some have given no trouble at all. Oh and for a 2.0 diesel they put a pretty good smile on your face, especially on tight windy roads!

For sale already, I've got my eye on an E46 Touring so cant have 3 cars.. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=366218299

So as some people will already know, I just brought this, I've been wanting a Tech II for AGES and so when this popped up on trademe in my price range I jumped at it. Plans are to tidy it up a bit as she's a bit rough in places, possibly respray depending on how the paint comes up and daily drive it. Oh and get the air con working, after driving an E39 for the last little while I cant go without the luxury. Potentially do an M50 swap at some stage. Its got, Leather Recaros, Z3 short shift, Remus exhaust, Koni adjustables in the front, Bilsteins in the rear, Hartge wheels, etc.
-
I'm after a good condition Tech II steering wheel to suit E30, let me know if you have anything.
