  1. Started experiencing a lumpy idle on start up, intermittent sluggishness when driving a few weeks ago along with some odd gearbox behavior. i scanned the car,  got a p0369 crank shaft sensor intermittent code.

After some googling and reading ordered a new sensor from Coombes (genuine is best) and it was off to Mosens for fitment along with a gear box flush.

Got the car back today, feels like new. So smooth in both engine and gearbox departments. Brilliant!

Why the M badge delete?  As far as I'm aware the NZ new m sports had them from new so "factory"?

Mine is staying right where it is...

In my case it looked like a knock off and was very faded and had nasty looking dirt ring around it. I prefer the no badge look for the car. And mine is an import.

The badge is now stuck on my tool chest, lol.

Did mine too the other week. But I couldn't get the corners on properly!  :( Reluctant now to take it off again in case I damage it while prying up. used silicon and confident nothing is tucked, just won't stretch around. Living with it for now... Hmmmm at least much better than the worn out ones

Picked up new front and rear window seals today from Coombes, plus new under tray hardware.

To be fitted as time allows.

Fitted the rear window set, 2 pcs today with the kids out skating. 30 mins all up. Hardest bit was getting the old side pieces out after they broke away from the corners.

Also, lots of underseal scum was flushed away.

Thanks @BozzaFC, @adro and @hunter, I'll wait to hear from the guys at GROM and order what they recommend. I'm actually considering just going for AUX only, if one of them is compatible. I would prefer not to rely on the mic and bluetooth of the adapter hidden in behind the HVAC. There's a few really decent and discreet bluetooth kits to choose from that will do a better job I'm hoping.

Good to know they fit in there, I found a few that you hook up in the boot which seems crazy.

If you just want a hard lined AUX. Dont get a grom, do what hqstu did with the business cd update and then you can also add bluetooth via that method if desired.

Mines in the front, @hunter has one in his E39 too but don’t know if his experience has been that great?

    Yeah ive got one it's great now i have;

    - got a replacment unit from GROM to replace the one that squeeled alot with interferance thru the speakers...

    - upgraded to Samsung Galaxy 9, from 8. the audio is better quality from the phone and i can have the phone volume higher(as a line in over BT) meaning i have better control from the HU over volume and its the same levels as radio.

only issues is i still can get mic or 3.5 mm jack inputs to work so havent installed them, but meh

    its installed behind the HVAC

  8. Ended up sending the pump to Car Computers, in Taupo.

Kerry at Mosens did removal of old pump (noting some bone dry lines in the process) and install of reconned pump this week. great turn around from Car Computers and Mosens

However, this didn't completely fix the issue as the booster diaphram was also playing up.  This was also replaced today. brakes are now working as expected again, with ok feel in the pedal and great bite. No sinking pedal when sitting at the lights either. Finally able to make proper use of the new pads and rotors.

EDIT - took the car fopr a strop out Peackcoks road on the way home from work last night. Brakes felt amazing, lots ofstopping power and really good responsevnes. Wore the bulbs out ;) so got a brake lights warning on the dash with 2 new bulbs needed today lol
