OK, so as I understand it...to swap from an m52 dualmass flywheel to an m20 singlemass flywheel,all I need to do is use the m20 325i, 228mm clutch assembly as the e30 throwout bearing allows for the difference in flywheel heights? As advised by bm warehouse. Is this correct?Any further comments? This would be rather pleasing as the 328i 240mm clutch kit is $791.00 +gst

How does 42mm compare to the m20 flywheel? Do people use the m20 flywheel because the m50 doesnt work?different set heights maybe?

Does anybody have an m52 or m3 flywheel I could measure/borrow? Alternatively does anybody know the set height ie,the distance between the crank mounting face and the pressure plate/friction face? I need the measurement for the machinist to have one made. Many tia.

Aftermarket springs are different for 6s & 4s.Assume the same applies here.
