Got me a box yay! Just a bit bigger than the 6er Can see why a straight up adapter plate wont work. The 6 box is nowhere near big enough to go over the flywheel. Taller top gear lets me use my LSD too which is a bonus.

Replacement thread... E46 type 2.8 litre M52tu B28. Engine only. Aprox 160000kms. Excellent runner with recent VANOS rebuild through Jerrys (under warranty whilst in the E46). Has cracked intake boots and no AC pump, otherwise perfect. Lightened and balanced M20 single mass flywheel and heavy duty clutch. Less than 2000kms on the fly/clutch combo, upgraded by Autoclutch and capable of holding far more power than this engine gives. Flywheel balanced by Bob Mead. ZF S5D 320 5 speed manual gearbox as used in 3ltr M3, E36/46/39 328/330/528/530 etc. In excellent cond. Only $2000 to members. Get your combo now! Pick up from Helensville.

This is an early 540 trans. 5hp 30. Different from later (5hp 24?) trans. Believe it also fits E34/32/38. Shifted nicely when removed but has leak from selector shaft. Includes converter. $450 ono pick up Helensville.

From a few K north of Waimauku through to Helensville on SH16 has a few straights and can be reasonably quiet, though not on the week end. Beware of vibs on axle stands. They can get quite bad if the car isn't loaded.

Yeah, moved the subframe back to the E30 position, so had to move the wheel forward again.

So, this thing was ok but never really did it for me. So, got one of these It's a V8 mate It's in the hole It's quite tight It's got some engine mounts It's also got some new control arm mounts Still lots to do but hopefully we'll be sorted Oct-Nov or there abouts.
